Dr. Shannon Hoos-Thompson, MD

Open, caring, and knew when to get me to a cardiovascular surgeon. I would trust her again.

I dont know if she is a good cardiologist or not. I saw her once. She was NOT friendly. In fact, she She was very distant and gave me cold looks. She later cancelled my future appt. Perhaps she did not want me as a patient.

Lazy, uncaring, lacking empathy. I nearly died from her treatment. She prescribed medications without discussing side effects to watch out for. I developed a crippling cough, lung congestion, difficulty swallowing and had no idea what was causing it. During my last visit with her she basically said she was done seeing me so I had no idea that these meds could make me so sick. She should have said she wanted to see me again in a few weeks to see how I was doing but she didn't. She said she was sending me back to my family doctor so I thought I was done. And through all of this my blood pressure did not improve that much. The worst.

I feel grateful to have Dr. Hoos-Thompson looking after my mother, who has congestive heart failure. Dr. Hoos-Thompson is a brilliant physician and a person who embodies compassion and integrity. I would recommend her without reservation.
