Doctor Son has treated me very well and is one of many Doctors that I've seen over the years that really seem to care for their patients. As a veteran it's nice to finally have a doctor that listens and doesn't just prescribe pills and send you on our way.

Excellent
At 78 yrs old, and I have had a few doctors over the years. Recently I moved to Washington State and needed to find a new physician. Dr. Son was available and I grabbed the first appointment available. He treated me with the dignity and respect I expected and we discussed the issues most important to me during this initial visit. I am happy to recommend him to anyone wanting a caring family physician. His office staff was very nice also and I have nothing but good things to report to friends and family about this initial visit.

The doctor himself is fine but the office staff is the worst!! They NEVER follow up on anything and take FOREVER to get results on any requests! The patient will have to REPEATEDLY call on a daily basis for anything to happen, it’s pathetic!

I have been going to Dr Shane son for over 3yrs now, he is my VA primary care doctor due to my spinal cord and cancer issues. He has always followed through and has always been there for me. His staff have always been super efficient and caring. They do have a large patient load, so its well worth the wait. So if you are looking for a doctor who truly cares about your health and helping you or your loved ones, then this is the best doctor I have ever had. DK, Combat Disabled Veteran

He is a good dr to visit. I came to him as VA referred his as my primary care. He is patient, listens carefully and took proper step to initiate my medical treatment. Over all he is very good. I didn’t like the environment of the office. Staffs are ok.

I have visited Dr. Shane Son three times. Each time he was patient, answered all questions, and right on with his diagnosis. He was my doctor's doctor before my doctor for years retired. I read the comments about the office staff. There has been a fairly recent change that has improved their staff.

Any doctor that allows or thinks it is remotely ok for his office manager to put an offensive sign on the the door telling customers not to ask the questions about where other offices are located can't have the best judgement clinically. Common sense should tell anyone that is the epitome of poor customer service. if ya cant get that right.. then what are you really capable of clinically? I will look for a dr. that utilizes the most basic common courtesy of customer service..

Dr. Son is a very kind man, and I think for the typical sore throat, stomach ache, earache sort of illnesses, he'd be fine. For more complicated conditions, maybe not so much. But the big problem is his office staff. They're not rude, but they are inefficient. I understand that orders are often not sent to the lab (next door), and referrals are often forgotten. Patients should expect to have to follow up on the staff. This is not merely my experience but that of other patients and professionals.
