Dr. Shanaz Ali, MD

Dr. Ali is a very intelligent and caring doctor. She thinks out-of-the-box to find solutions to my complex medical problems. She has a very attentive staff that always follows up with you after treatment is necessary. She always spends plenty of time with you and listens to your description of symptoms and concerns. I highly recommend her as an expert doctor. Of the 7 different doctors I see on a yearly basis, She is the best.

Both Dr. Ali and her nurse practioner practice medicine in a rare category. How so? In an age where peple don't really care abut each other. $$$ is the driving force. NOT SO WITH THESE PHYSICIANS!! Sincere care concern for their patients is the 100 percent motivator behind their practice. In fact, they don't PRACTICE, they zero in on the exact and best way to manage your care. Dr. Shanaz Ali has been my PCP for 10 years now. I can honestly say that there is nowhere else I would go. As a nurse for 7 years and a nurse practitioner for 2 years, I have a good understanding from the patient’s point of view AND the providers view. With that being said, I can honestly say that Dr. Ali is compassionate, kind, and committed. Dr Ali is not what we call a “Pill pusher” but is someone who sits down and actually talks to her patients. She takes the time to understand her patients physically, mentally and emotionally. She is a doctor that helps her patients feel empowered to improve their own health. After every visit, she is always encouraging me to get daily exercise and to always eat my fruits and vegetables. Dr Ali has been my PCP for over 20 years when she started at the SW Freeway clinic. over the years she has followed me through many medical issues,  many could have gone either way.   A couple of years ago she told me I  just read your hospital report and can't believe all you went through- you know if you were a cat,  you are on#13. I don't know if I'm still on 13 or working on 14, but the reason I have outlived my warranty is to be on my team you have to be the best. Dr Ali trained and learned from my heart and kidney drs.  So everyone knows everyone and I don't know how much longer I have but Dr Ali will continue to be my PCP BECAUSE SHE IS THE BEST!
