Requested That This Doctor Be Removed For My Care
Dr. Sudhakar was assigned to me on a recent hospital stay. I had never seen him before and from the moment he came into my room, he had an arrogance about him and was very abrupt. He was very difficult to understand and seemed irritated if I asked him to repeat something. He told me that my afib had returned and that I needed to be on blood thinners. I told him they were not covered on my insurance and that I could not afford them. Although I knew that there were other options available to me, (older medications and a Watchman procedure), he did not offer those to me - he just told me that I was going to have to 'suck it up and pay for the cost of the medicine.' (EXACT WORDS!) I reported him to the Charge Nurse and told her that no doctor should talk to a patient like that. I asked that he be removed from my case, which the CN agreed.

Bad Dr.
This Dr. put a pacemaker in me after an emergency room visit that my current Cardiologist says I didn't need.

I have switched to another cardiologist because of the following issues: 1) I was under the idea that he was going to perform an angiogram with possible PCI (aka angioplasty and stents). I did not find out until the morning of the procedure that his parter Dr. Nguyen was doing the procedure. 2) Dr. Nguyen did not perform PCI as they decided that my disease was too severe and referred me for bypass. After a 2nd opinion, my new cardiologist successfully treated me with PCI a week ago. 3) When going over the report of my angiogram, I stated I did not understand the jargon, and he stated in a haughty voice “that is why I went to school for 15 years” With a Ph.D. In aeronautics & astronautics, I have an extensive education as well. 4) At one point he had me on two medicines, one each to raise and lower my blood pressure. 5) At my last appointment, upon entering the exam room he thought I was a different patient. His staff either doesn’t put my chart outside the room, or he didn’t look.

Only been to first appointment but he seemed to listen carefully, asked questions based on my statements. The staff was friendly and efficient even though it seemed a busy office. I felt immediately at ease and confident he knew what he was talking about!
