Dr. Sean McMenomey, MD

Dr. McMenomey is brilliant, proffesional, and caring. He took the time to examine my ears, and explained to me why my ears are not listening to me, subscribe the medicine, and told me if my insurance doesn’t cover the medicine, l should let him know to subscribe a different one. He asked me to go back after 2 weeks to follow up. I felt improvement immediately after l took the medicine. Kudos to Dr. McMenomey, and his staff My advice is if your ears are not listening to you, take them to Dr. McMenomey.

Dr M listened to all of my concerns and took the time to carefully look in my ears and bring me a resolution to my problems. Ended up writing a prescription that saved me!! Thank you Dr M!!

Dr. McMenomey is one of the best doctor's i've interacted with. Extremely efficient and gets you in an out quickly.I was struggling with an ear infection for a while and he was able to have me feeling better in a matter of 20 minutes.

Dr. Mcmenomey did not even pretend to care. He had zero direction and came to our appointments ill prepared and with zero plan to actually help. I felt a minimal level of effort and zero care for my ailment. Any questions I asked him were met with a shrug and a blatant “I don’t know”. It’s one thing to not know the problem, but it’s another entirely to sit there in silence waiting for the client to leave. If you’re looking for a doctor that cares about his job, avoid Dr. Mcmenomey. He acted unprofessionally when I expressed my disappointment in his level of care which was consistent with the rest of our interactions. Perhaps he’s good at helping with cases that aren’t complex or without existing playbooks, but in terms of identifying and diagnosing an issue… I can’t imagine him having a high success rate.

Would highly recommend Dr. McMenomey. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring and informative. Absolute best in his field.

Moreover, he introduced me to his surgical coordinator, Victoria, who patiently explained things pertinent to the surgical process. This is the sort of environment I always look for when visiting a doctors office.

Very straight forward doctor and helpful. He explained the procedure and other potential procedures if this one di dnot help. I had a few questions after leaving the clinic and Dr McMenomey responded quickly and precisely.

Dr. McMenomey was my doctor at OHSU her in Portland for about 10 years- he then moved to NYU for about 3 years and then came back to the northwest at Swedish. I had some pretty bad experiences with other specialists during his absence for chronic ear disease with severe hearing loss. He had done some procedures on my ear and I trust him implicitly. I drive from Portland to Seattle to see him and that is fine with me. It's worth the 3 hour drive.

Dr. McMenomey was absolutely terrific in explaining my situation and how the treatment was to proceed. He took his time and answered all my questions thoroughly and kindly. I cannot believe anyone would call him pompous; he was exactly the opposite. He/his staff was able to get me in when the first ENT doctor realized my condition was not in his expertise, which was greatly appreciated since I had driven three hours for the appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. McMenomey to anyone!

His appointments are too quick and he does not explain thoroughly, but I trust him completely. I am a very difficult case and he did an amazing job with my mastoidectomy. He definitely knows what he is doing.
