Amazing Pain Doctor!
Dr. Li is amazing. He is compassionate, caring, but most importantly, a really good pain doctor. He reviewed all of my information and MRI images himself. When he explained treatment options, he was open and honest about expectations. He performed an epidural for my back pain and I felt better immediately. The procedure was quick and painless. I felt well taken care of and comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend.

Horrible wait times for surgeries or procedures
Terrible with scheduling surgery or outpatient procedures. If you can't get the first appointment of the day, be prepared to wait up over two hours on top of your scheduled time. It seems like he and his office can't manage his calendar and over-schedule major surgeries so if one goes long, he's backed up for hours.

Dr. Li Made My Pain Disappear!!!
I had a severe case of spinal stenosis- The pain was almost too much to bare registering at an 8 or 9 on the pain level chart- Dr. Li suggested a bilateral epidural- I now consider Dr. Li a magician of the highest order as he made the pain completely disappear after the procedure- Highly recommend Dr. Li for any pain issues- He is an incredible physician.

STAY FAR AWAY
Dr Li completely lied in visit notes. It's not my fault that he is not knowledgeable in my condition and doesn't know what to do next as far as treatment. It makes me wonder if my procedure failing was due to error on his part.

Took our money but didn’t help me. Then prescribed me opioids. He shouldn’t be allowed to practice medicine.

Dr. Li works to find the reasons for my pain, which has not been easy or clearcut. He continues to explore options for treatment and invests much time with me in discussing these options and the pros and cons with them. He is very much current with options that have been well "tested". I have full trust and faith in his honesty, care and knowledge.

I had 2 stims and I like my Dr. He really understands my pain and that its really not in my head. My stims are another tool to use just as other pain management. I wont give mine back. lol He is very smart and he does care . He has really helped me . Having the 7 day trial was painful but it was all worth the pain to get out of some pain. Not a cure. You have to be sure its for you. If you can be strong as hard as it is you will find some releif. I have sent a few of my friends to Dr.Li

Dr. Li has been a fantastic surgeon and pain specialist. He recently implanted a trial Pain Stimulator to which I had fantastic response to - 90%+ Pain Relief. I also develop a spinal fluid leak (which has happened to me twice before in 2014 and 2007), Dr. Li kept a daily follow-up on me even sending him pictures of the area (even over a weekend). He has shown great intellect and great surgical skills not to mention his extreme compassion for all I have been through.

Dr. Li removed spinal cord stimulator so I could get MRI. Procedure went well and he offered options to consider to manage chronic pain. He was patient and thoughtful and it was appreciated.

Dr. Li is very professional and very smart. I suffered with back pain for many years before finding him, and he was the only one who suggested spinal cord stimulation. What a quality of life saver! He also diagnosed a rare condition and helped me understand the choices I had for treatment. I received excellent compassionate care. Couldn't ask for anyone better.

Absolute worst. He spent two years treating me for a back issue and when he told me to see a spine surgeon, I did and had such advanced hip osteoarthritis. Drs at HSS told me it wasn’t my back in minutes. What a waste. He told another person I know they needed a new hip when they absolutely did not. Thank God for NY doctors. This man cannot diagnose or treat. Be aware!

Dr Li administer my spinal injection. I opted to not use general anesthesia, so I was awake for the process. As it was being preformed, Dr. Li kept a calm conversation going with me to help with nerves. Very nice with great bedside manner. So glad I found him.
