The BEST pain management Dr. Ever! Changed my life
Have been a patient for over 5 years. When other doctors could not find cause of my back pain, Dr. Walia never gave up on me. Have had various procedures by him until he found what helps to eleviate my pain. He is the kindest, most caring , professional doctor I have ever known. His assistant, Laurie, is as wonderful as he and the office staff is professional, friendly and caring. I live a more active life due the care of Dr. Walia.

My Favorite Doctor
The entire staff at the Freehold location is great but Dr Walia and Lori (Med Asst) are my absolute fav. I have been coming here for a few years and I've always had a great experience. Dr Walia is thorough in his approach to care for me, he answers all of my questions, there's never any judgement and he's very personable. Lori always makes sure to make me laugh in some way during my appointments and even holds my hand whenever I have procedures. Its hard enough dealing with pain so its important to have the proper medical professionals care for you. I can say hands down that has been my experience at the Freehold office of Premier Pain Centers.

Dr. Walia is truly a wonderful doctor. He takes the time to listen, thoroughly explains options in a self-determined approach, and genuinely cares about my well-being. I’m so lucky to have found a doctor who does not have poor bedside manner, push medications, and force treatments. He’s just the opposite, always thoughtful and kind in his art. He’s also quick to respond even off hours. Highly recommend.

I have suffered with L4-L5, L5-S1 disc herniations for over 30 years. Over the last 5 years the gnawing pain and neurological symptoms of these herniations have progressed rapidly. I sought a prognosis from Dr. Walia as a conservative alternative to surgery. Dr. Walia is a very professional and highly skilled physician! He genuinely listened to me, immediately allayed my fears and assured me that surgery was not my only option. Dr. Walia thoroughly educated me. He explained how various pain management procedures were available to relieve my constant discomfort and injuries. With my deepest appreciation to Dr. Walia and his kind assistant, Laurie, I have found pain relief and can maintain an active lifestyle because of their expert care. I can't truly express my gratitude for enabling me to live virtually pain free! I confidently & highly recommend seeing Dr. Walia if you suffer with painful injuries. His care, knowledge and skillful technique have been life changing for me.

Dr. Walia is very gentle and takes time to listen and understand your history and current pain before rendering his diagnosis/opinion. He has given me three Lumbar Medial Branch Blocks in the last few years and the latest enabled me to take a trip to Paris after wanting to do so since I was last there in 1974. I very highly recommend Dr. Walia and the entire staff at Premier Pain in Shrewsbury!

We called and saw Dr Walia today. The staff was very accommodating to our needs, seeing as though we had just had an awful experience with another practice. They spoke to us, fit us in for a consultation and we are having our epididural in a few days. Dr Walia was thorough, honest and explained everything to us. We would definitely recommend him and the Freehold office to anyone that wants to be treated as a person!!!

Dr. Walia and his staff, particularly Lori, were most emphatic and accommodating to the needs of my 94 year old mother who, at the time, was in excruciating lower back pain. Twice, Dr. Walia altered his schedule (and possibly that of one other physician) so that my mother could be properly treated and in the most expeditious manner. Frankly, at a time when visits to doctors feel so impersonal -like being in an assembly line- the care and attention received from Dr. Walia is simply exceptional.

I am so happy and pain relived since being treated by Dr. Walia. After a terrible car accident, Dr. Walia treated the constant pain I had in my lower leg resulting from an open wound. Both he and his staff are professional, kind and understanding. Each time I have gone, he remembers to ask how I am, how well is my 92 year old dad doing, how well is work and so on. I have never had a doctor who really cares for and about his patients as does Dr. Walia. I highly recommend him.

Non reccomendable, highly unprofessional. After starting treatment with this doctor, I will no longer continue or recommend. Doctor has a bad attitude, as well as unprofessional comments towards clients. He's a doctor who will waste your time and money. Also, within a few very short visits, there were many inconsistent and changing medical diagnosis and thought. I am offended and embarrassed to walk in and out of that office.

I am a 70 year old male with spinal stenosis and osteoporous. I have been suffering with 10 rated pain in my C5 C6 and C7. Dr. Walia was recommened to me and I received shots to the right side of my neck at 5,6, 7 twice and the pain went from 10 to 5 to 0. Just this month and last, he did my right side at 5,6,7. Just yesterday, April 26, 2018, was my second set of shots to the left side. My pain went from 5 to 0 and here on the 27th I am without pain. He and his staff, including Lori, are great!

Dr. Walia was recommended to me by the oncologist I use. I found Dr. Walia very helpful and he recommended putting a nerve block in my upper spine. So far it has worked very well. I firmly believe Dr. Walia to be very capable and makes you comfortable. I highly recommend this doctor to any person in pain. He seems to give life more good quality.

My injury stems from an auto accident in 2004 which left me incapacitated for many years, chronic pain led to arthritic pain in my cervical spine and Lower back. narcotic pain relievers did not work and were only leading to dependency so Dr Walia opted to try yearly joint injections which are the ticket to a pain free existence without surgery. Dr Walia is brilliant at what he does his diagnosis are spot on under his care & following his advice have given me my life back I am truly thankful

I met with Doctor Walia last week. After having suffered pain and neuropathies associated with an autoimmune disease that I suffer from and had received treatment from his practice, Premier Pain. by other physicians in the practice for over 10 years, Doctor Walia changed my course of therapy which has worked for me for over 10 years. He is not a good listener and seemed to have very little compassion. Their are many fine MDs in this practice but I can not recommend him.

Dr. Walia has a keen, witty mind. His diagnoses & plans are well thought out. My L3-4/4-5 disks were herniated. His plan was included epidurals & PT. They eased the pain but as the PT progressed the pain was persistent. Dr Walia intervened & prescribed CT scan & a colonoscopy. Results showed that I had rectal cancer in the lowest extent of the rectum, precisely where neither the injections nor the PT could reach. He saved my life! I recommended Dr. Walia to my wife for her rotator cuff pain.
