Rude and Condescending
My husband saw Dr Houston today and found him to be very rude and condescending. He may be experienced as a doctor but had we realized this before we never would have seen him. Really an unpleasant experience.

Hurt and confused
Doctor Houston was impatient, unclear, negative, and hostile. The doctor refused to hear my question, snapped in anger when the I just started to speak only 2 words, and he rushed out of the room without clear instructions. I do not trust his recommendation, since he refused to hear me out for even 1 moment.

visit was a waste of my time
dr. houston did not address any of my issues nasal and ear. he did not give me a chance to speak. he was very rude. i feel i deserved to be addressed as a human being. i came to him seeking help, and left there very sad and annoyed . a friend came with me, and was in total shock in the manor that Dr. Houston treated me in this visit. He should be ashamed of himself. i never had such a quick and fruitless Dr's appointment in my life! It was my understanding he was one of the best.

Derisive and Poor Bedside Manner.
My title said it all. In June 2022 he downplayed my request for a septoplasty as well as my request for a CPAP. Very dismissive attitude and seemed in a hurry.

He is rude acts like he knows everything when you ask too much he says he isn’t that smart. Ignored my ear pulsing luckily his colleague sent me to do testing and found a blood clot in my brain. He doesn’t care about patients every single time I went to him was stressful he doesn’t listen. Why be a doctor if you are rude, unprofessional and doesn’t want to help?

Not a happy experience
I think he knows his stuff but terrible bedside manner, very unfriendly, didn't seem to really care. Nothing earthshattering but when he took his mask down in the exam room, that was unacceptable. I would never recommend or go back

Dr. Houston is very professional. Although he doesn't waste time, he takes time to read reports thoroughly. He explains everything fully and listens well to questions so that he can answer them completely. Dr. Houston gives his recommendation for treatment. He is willing and, in fact, encourages me to make decisions based on his recommendations as well as in consideration of the other medical conditions I have.

I think the doctor is very smart. But, he’s so bluntly unfriendly I started to laugh in the middle of the appointment. I wouldn’t say he’s mean or nasty, but he just doesn’t seem to care much about a patient’s feelings. He will definitely cut you off and he won’t look you in the eye or shake your hand when he comes into the room or leave. He’ll solve your issue, but the experience may leave you feeling bad for a few days after.

When I asked him if my condition could get worse, he said, "I don't know, I don't have a crystal ball". I agree with all the other one stars. If I could give him less, I would.

When you find a doctor who is excellent in his practice, treats you more like family than just another patient and goes above and beyond his scope to refer you to a different specialist to ensure you get the best care possible, you’ve hit the trifecta! That’s Dr. Sean Houston, ENT at Coastal Ear, Nose, Throat and Balancing Center. I believe there are angels among us disguised as humans albeit unbeknownst to themselves. I'm convinced Dr. Houston is one of them.

Dr. Houston was a pleasure and knows his business. Office staff was nice. Office is large and very clean. Only downside was I was kept waiting for a while, but if everything else is good, it's worth the wait. Aside from wait, I highly recommend.
