Terrible staff
Dr Small is wonderful and takes time with his patients . On the downside, his office staff i.e. nurse is awful. Doesn’t matter how many voicemails you leave for a callback. You never get one. Not sure if they don’t check the voicemail or choose not to call back. Even when you have an health issue and need to speak to the doctor. Do not any expect any response.

I've been seeing Dr. Small for about 10 years. I appreciate his honesty and directness. I wouldn't say he's warm and cozy, but he is very knowledgable, calming and has a willingness to get to the bottom of a problem. I echo other's sentiments of the quality of the staff (at Primary Care Physicians of Atlanta) - not great. I've only needed one referral, but it was excellent.

Dr. Small is an awesome doctor! I have been going to him for over 20 years. He has helped me through some real tough medical issues. He is laid back and VERY thorough. I have received return calls from him after work hours on multiple occasions. I would HIGHLY recommend him. The women who work check-in at the front office are not nice. So do not expect a warm welcome. But after you check in, expect excellent service!

He was very pompous. I thought maybe he just wanted me to know he was knowledgeable so I ignored it. But after palpating my abdomen for the exam, he made a remark "you're a little overweight"....I'm 120 pounds. Very normal BMI. Yes, I have a little fat on my abdomen, but that doesn't make me overweight. Very offputting!!!

Scott Small is an excellent physician. He is thorough, commutative, and knowledgeable. He has treated both my wife me for a number of years. We have referred several of our friends to him, and they are very pleased as well. He has referred us to excellent specialists also. His office coordinates well with our other doctors. We are very pleased with his service.

Poor experience with this physician. Was inappropriately critical of my prior Doctor used profanity to describe him. Went in for annual routine physical which I've done for 20+ years. Curiously doctor called me himself to redo x-ray he felt was ok based on radiologist opinion than billed me for non-routine care charge! Never before has this been a problem with any prior physician or physical. Suspicious not nonreputable approach. Terminating relationship. Lastly found technology to be deficient

I've been a patient of Dr. Smalls for 20 years. He has always been attentive, knowledgeable and direct. I trust him and would recommend him, as I have to a number of people. My only complaint centers on the office staff. They never answer the phone and generally never return a call with any urgency. I've been going through something that has required the staff to provide records and information and it has been a circus. I don't sense any concern for responsiveness and follow through.
