Great physician!
I had a wonderful experience with this doctor. I had previous back surgery with an orthopedic surgeon and he nearly crippled me. It took me 10 years to work up the courage to try again, and luckily I found Dr. Kutz. Should have used a neurosurgeon, like Dr. Kutz in the first place. Live and learn! Dr. Kutz is gentle, soft spoken and very kind. He fixed the problems left behind by my first doctor, and made sure my post op care went smoothly. I have never felt rushed, and he always has time for questions, even though I sometimes feel I have asked a silly one. He never treats any question like it is silly or trivial. He understands my fears and does his best to calm them without talking down to me. He even has a good sense of humor. His staff is nice and friendly, and they do their best to help you, and even though he is a busy man, they make sure you get the appointments you need. You can’t go wrong with Dr. Kutz.

Amazing Surgeon!
When I saw Dr. Kutz 3 years ago, I could hardly walk. Now I am able to play golf 3x per week. I still have some discomfort, but I feel great. He and his staff are the most caring people I have ever seen.

I love Dr. Kutz. He did surgery on my hand and the scare is barley visible. I have to get a ACDF done and I don't want anyone but Dr. Kutz, he has great bedside manner. I never felt rushed when I came in for dr. appts he answered all my questions. I trust Dr. Kutz doing this surgery. I highly recommend him.

I had my L4/5 spinal fusion w/ Dr. Kutz after decades of regular steroid shots, physical therapy dozens of times, and a handful of rhizotomies (to burn the nerve endings). That surgery by Dr. Kutz allowed me to resume walking for exercise, get better sleep, and sit in a chair to work! If not for my surgery by Dr. Kutz, I never would have made it through the pandemic lockdown! I have written before about the excellent care I have received from Dr. Kutz and I'm sincerely surprised to read anything negative about his skills or care. His nurse, Julie, is also genuinely compassionate. I have had three or four follow-up visits w/ as much care as pre-surgery - all my questions answered, options discussed, no rushing, friendly demeanor, and solution-oriented service. For me, he's been a blessing and a bright spot in my medical history.

Dr. Kutz saved my life. I couldn't walk after 3 previous fusions failed. Three fusions in 9 months helped so much! I feel he actually cares about me and my well being! I recommend him to everyone!

Ask Dr. Kutz why he had to leave Texas Back Institute after only working there one year. Also ask him about why he left Springfield, MO. Do not use this surgeon- he is all Sales.

Dr Kutz is awful. He may be a good surgeon, but his neglect for after care has nearly killed my son twice. We had to rush him to the emergency room after both surgeries. His aftercare is a real potential killer.

I was disappointed in the level of care I received. My surgery went fine, other than the fact it was bumped for six weeks because of a scheduling conflict on their end. I wasn't visited after the surgery, in fact, the nurses had to scramble to find someone to write a script so I could leave with pain meds. The meds were useless, but because he was on vacation, I was up the creek and in serious pain. His staff said to go to my primary, which couldn't get to me for 9 days. Least he was happy.
