The Best
My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Kahney for 12-15 years. We both think the world of Dr. Kahney. I truly believe he saved my husband's life 10 years ago. He was having heart issues. He sent him to a cardiologist of which ran the standard stress test and passed with flying colors. Dr. Kahney wasn't satisfied with the results and personally called the cardiologist. Come to find out my husband had to have a triple bypass and had it not been for Dr. Kahney's attention to my husband's health, he may not be with us today! Thank you Dr. Kahney!

NOPE!
I went to see Scott Kahney and it’s a HARD PASS. I would not recommend anyone see this deranged *aggressive* individual. If you want to feel like you are in a court house and you’re being investigated go to this health care “professional”. Otherwise stay away. He is really sassy and unhelpful. His visit felt nothing like any doctor’s appointment I have ever went to and I have been to several healthcare providers across the country (I travel a lot).I went for an annual physical. No changes. No health concerns. This man was trying to change everything and kept insisting I’m a smoker and do drugs.I am a healthcare professional and I have several master degrees with a 4.0 GPA and this man has the audacity to insinuate I smoke tobacco when I have NEVER done drinking, drugs, or used tobacco products in my LIFE. My job routinely does drug tests for their employees. This has NEVER been a concern for myself or my place of employment. Or anyone but him. This is a VOLUNTARY annual physical.

real customer service at a Dr. office!
I have never been to a practice that everyone from the front desk, Nurse, Doctor, all the way to check out person is happy to be at work. When employees are treated with respect it provides great customer service. The waiting room even has a sign that says'If you have been waiting for more than 20 minutes inform the front desk'. Dr. Kanhey takes time to really listen and explain what you need. The least rushed I've felt in a American Doctors office.

Only cares about the v*x and nothing else
Kahney has a one track mind-- get jabbed. Would Not discuss my diabetes and high blood pressure; literally had no reply to that except he is concerned I'm not protected by the jab. Only wanted to know why I've refused that "protection". Then, forgot to order follow-up tests. But most importantly, as he said 20 times: get jabbed.

Do not trust this doctor. My husband lost 60 percent of his hearing in one ear due to him and PA named Shannon. He had sudden hearing loss for no reason. They were completely oblivious to the fact that he needed to be seen by a specialist. Shannon gave him one prescription after 8 days with no change Dr. Kahney gave him another after a third visit he decided to send him to an ENT which we had to go to him to get a referral for. Instead of being alerted by sudden hearing loss, he delayed needed treatment and wasted precious time that was needed to save my husbands hearing. Do not make the mistake we did by trusting this narcissistic rude individual that thinks he is capable of caring for people.

Excellent. My husband and I have gone to Dr Kahney for almost 15 years. We’ve found him to be an excellent diagnostician. We’ve always felt like he gives us good, thoughtful advice.

went in for a annual physical with no ailments and standard hypertension and cholesterol medications that I was on. Dr Kahney of his own accord figures out due to my family history that I should take double the dose for both! Really? I did not ask for my medications to be reviewed nor needed any refills. But lo and behold what should be a free annual physical turns out to be an additional cost of ~$72. So beware - Docs in the Privia practice or Village Medical are doing this additional billing unless you explicitly indicate you will pay nothing and want nothing more than the physical covers. This Doc and others like him are a disgrace to their profession!

My husband, daughter and I have all saw Dr. Kahney as our primary care physician for several years. He's a nice guy, but really never helps resolve any issues or provide insight. We always end up seeking medical advice elsewhere which results in diagnosis and effective treatment. He's one of those docs that's just 20 years behind current best practices. And if you ever want advice that isn't a prescription - forget it. We finally switched docs and it's been so much better.

Self serving ahole. Could care less about my condition as he was too worried about covering his own a**. The epitome of "practicing medicine".

Dr. Kahney has no understanding of how to interact with patient. I saw him because of issue related to my throat. After a very short check of my throat and ears, he stated that he thought it could be "it was in my head" I imagined it. He then asked if I had any stress in my life. I have no problem with my issue being stress related but I do have an issue with the words used: "it was in my head" as it was insulting. About 2 min after his "diagnosis" he said it also could be GERD related.
