Got fired for being honest
Was a patient for 4 years. He did a great job initially when he put in my stents. However, the last 2 years have been vastly different. Wait times and advocating for my own care left me concerned and questioning. Sought a second opinion for a major surgery he was recommending I get and when I told him I was frustrated with the long wait times, having to remind home of what we had done or not done, what meds he put me on or never put me on and finally a completely missed TeleVisit call he reacted hurt and told me to get my future needs done with my new doctor (the second opinion guy).

I went in with my husband for his appointment. He was very dismissive of us. He dismissed all of our blood pressure readings because he said since they weren’t done in a supine(laying) position they were not accurate. When I told him we had his blood pressure done by a nurse at Fort Worth heart which is where he works and even his office staff took the blood pressure sitting down, they did it wrong. He says blood pressure has to be taken laying down flat. When I tried to explain to him every doctors office takes it sitting down he interrupted me and told me “ who’s the cardiologist here?” He is so full of himself.

Waited 1 hour. When he finally arrived he was not leaned in to the patient. He was on his phone a lot. We both felt he did not take us seriously.

Just doesn’t get any better.
Dr. Bhargava was professional, friendly and very thorough. He listened to my concerns and set up next steps. This was a crazy stressful visit and found I immediately calmed down and felt confident in him and my care. He also saved my husband a couple years ago from an emergency widowmaker heart attack. Thank you so much!

I met Dr Bhargava in the hospital when i was have a A-fib episode. He was the only Doctor that actually took the time to explain what he might be looking for that was causing the A-fib. And during his search he started consulting with the other doctors and in doing so they found that i had cancer and i still have A-fib. But i feel because of his caring this was found and so now its treatable. He is such a great doctor and he treats his patients like people and takes the time to chat with them as well as tries to heal them. Thanks Doc

I’m thankful that I got to see Dr. Bhargava. He listened to all my concerns and put my mind at ease. It’s hard to find a Doctor let alone a Specialist that will sit with their patients for an extended time to really hear them out. He did. He didn’t rush thru appointments, he took the time to really understand all that I was going thru. I felt like I was in good hands throughout the entire process. I highly recommend him, he truly cares. Very grateful for Dr. Bhargava!

Dr. Bhargava is truly a marvel in his field. I have learned through being on the receiving end of his expertise that patients that are waiting to see him might have to wait unexpectedly. It is imperative to remember that if you are one of those people remember that you needed him at one time and he saved your life. Be kind and patient in the waiting room because he will give you the attention you need as a follow-up having saved your life. His staff are efficient, kind, patient and deserve courtesy. I believe that I would not be alive today without him and his skillfulness in cardiology. He was composed and kind when I was absolutely terrified. I will forever be grateful and I pray for him daily to be in good health and continue to give the same care he has given me to others. When I reflect back, I remember he not only helped me survive but he was genuinely kind and patient with my whole family.

Dr. Bhargava is my hero of a doctor!! I had been going to my regular doctor for weeks, telling him how I was feeling, and he would insist to me that there was nothing wrong with me. Finally, at my yearly checkup , my regular doctor asked me how long I had smoked and I told him 53 years. So he advised me to have heart catherization. I went to see Dr. Bhargava. Not only does he have a great sense of humor, he is a great cardiologist and he saved my life! He said I was close to having a heart attack. I got 3 stents. I had been trying to quit smoking off and on for 20 years. I tried the patch, the gum, and even hypnotism. Nothing worked. But that day that I received the stents, he told me if I kept smoking I would die. That was 2 years ago and I am still a non smoking!! COLD TURKEY. I will always be grateful for his expertise and his bedside manner.

Sanjay is one of the best doctors I have he has a genuine concern for my well being. He always takes the time to answer any and all my questions or concerns . When I was in the hospital he came by every day some times twice a day to check on my progress. I felt he trulley cared abought my well being. I have nine doctors and other than David Dunn my GP Sanjay is by far my favorite because like my GP Ifell he is doing everything he can to keep me healthy.

When I arrived at the emergency room of Granbury Medical Center on the evening of 12/27/19, Dr. Bargava was the cardiologist on call and he literally saved my life through his quick and expert analysis of my cardiac situation and taking the necessary action to stabilize my heart and see that I was transported to Medical City Fort Worth where I would receive the best care for my condition. He is a caring, compassionate and competent doctor who is devoted to his profession. I feel very blessed that Dr. Bargava was at the hospital that night and appreciate his continued care during my recovery and as my go-to cardiologist in the future.

He is brash and quite full of his greatness. I was in Lake Granbury Medical Center June 3 & 4. I went in with chest discomfort and was admitted with a major deficit of potassium. Additionally, my family on both sides has major history of heart condition—one side all aunts/uncles and both grandparents died with heart related issues. So it was recommended that a full cardio work up be done. They got everything done the day I came in. The next day the hospitalist was ready to discharge me but couldn’t because Bhargava had not come in. They contacted him multiple times and at 9:30 pm, it was determined that even though the cardio tests were good, I couldn’t be released because the dr hadn’t come in. You could tell the staff was irritated. He finally showed up at 11:15 pm bragging about his importance and clearly showing I was not as important. He belittled me over coming to the hospital because of a “little twitch”. He didn’t enter discharge order til almost 11 am next day.

My husband had been under the care of a board certified Cardiologist for years, and his shortness of breath, chest pain, and fatigue continued to get worse. We kept our scheduled appointments with this medical doctor and regularly explained my husband’s condition to him. On the advice of a friend, we went to see Dr. Bhargava. He listened to us. After some testing was done, my husband experienced a cardiac catheterization. Immediately following this, Dr. Bhargava told us that my husband was not going home. He had a room for us in the hospital. My husband would have surgery the next day. By the end of the following day my husband had a quadruple bypass; his closures were 99% to 100%, and the surgeon was amazed that my husband had been able to walk. This happened almost six weeks ago, and my husband is doing extremely well. He is alive today because of Dr. Bhargava’s knowledge, skill, intelligence, experience, and actual concern for the welfare of an individual.
