Terrible Experience
Dr. Le was incredibly rude to me. I asked him a few questions like what my diagnosis meant and how long recovery looked like as well as what would be the plan in the future. During this he kept on cutting me off and said that he doesn't evaluate recovery, scoffed and said it was up to me when I felt better. Then he backtracked and said he would be continuing my PT after I said that PT was improving my pain. All of this was in front of an assistant, who looked uncomfortable. At the end of the visit he told me to get out and go to the receptionist for a letter. Dr. Le also didn't email any of my documents to my company. I even confirmed with the receptionist that Dr. Le or his team would send an email updating my PT. I got a call from work and my PT that they hadn't received any documentation. Needless to say I will not be going back, nobody should be treated that way.

Horrible bedside manners !
After waiting for more than one hour to be seen by Dr. Le, he went inside the room almost in a rush, no friendly smile or greeting, just stated his name. Then the first thing he bluntly said was “ your tear is irreparable” with no show of patient concern or sensitivity. I am in my mid 60’s and very physically active , my pain is not severe , so I was totally shocked to learn this. He went on to explain the facts and painted a very depressing outlook for me . The last thing I remember he said “ come back when you need a cortisone injection when pain gets worse”. Then he left the examination room in such a hurry while I was still absorbing my grim situation. Dr Le may be an expert of his specialty but has the worst bedtime manners I have encountered in my life !

Satisfied Patient
Contrary to many reviews about the office running late, I arrived early to my appointment and was taken in right away. I had X-rays done before my scheduled appointment time. The medical assistants and X-ray tech were friendly and engaging. The doctor came in immediately. He was very thorough, informative, and straight to the point. He explained all the possible treatments available, success rates, etc. No nonsense kind of guy. Overall, the appointment went very well and very quick, just the way I hoped it would.

Best Doctor Ever
Dr. Le is a really good doctor he listens to you and takes the time to explain his findings and what will be the best treatment for you. If he explain it in a way that you don’t understand he would take the time to explain it in a way that you will understand. I really love going to Dr. Le If the rating scale was 1 to 10 Dr. Le will most definitely get a 10 he deserve it.

Life Changer - Kind and Humbled
I do not normally leave reviews regardless if its positive or negative, HOWEVER, I find myself compelled to leave this review. Dr. Le is a skilled surgeon who performed hand surgery on me…giving me back my use of hand. I had Scapholunate Advance Collapse (SLAC) where I no longer had ligaments or cartridge in my hand. Fusion of hand, but NO more debilitating pain. Dr. Le is humbled and confident. Never felt rushed. Dr. Le mirrors that of a plastic surgeon when it comes to the scar…AMAZING. as to staff, I to feel like a number and I’ve waited up to 4 hours once..AND ONLY ONCE. Not sure if Dr. Knows or has any ability to interject or work on front office waiting time since we all know it’s a business…get as many people in and out as possible. I get it. However, there is an older lady there that wears her hair up and she might be the front office manager… She’s respectful kind and understanding but she to does not have abilities to make a difference in waiting times. Steve (Grateful)

Lack of Experience & Poor Service Staff
1. Doctor Le required X rays taken by his office prior seeing the patient, regardless having recent MRI in file which deliver more accurate & detailed data than X rays without radiation. 2. Staff said X-rays files can be provided to me in 30 days; it's over 3 months and I still have not received them yet. 3. Doctor's treatment plan was passive, said my condition has no cure, only can take cortisone injections to relieve my pain and process takes 3-5 years. I went off for 2nd opinion elsewhere. In just 2 months, my pain had gone away and mobility recovered from 20% to 80% now through simple physical therapy and massage. I'm glad didn't take doctor Le's suggestion of taking cortisone injection on my first visit to his office.

I am a long-time employee of Kaiser Permanentes Dr Le has given me the opportunity to continue with my career with his profound knowledge as to the needs of my Advanced condition. With a very concerning mindset and an extremely professional environment. I have been exclusive to him for over 5 years for the condition in my hands and I am extremely completely satisfied customer/patient. Respectfully yours, Mark Castaneda
