May I suggest finding another doctor. She is rude, dismissive and seems to want the visit to be over before it even starts. She has absolutely zero interest in examining you. My examination consists of her literally gliding her fingers over mine for less than 1 second. That’s it!?!?Also communicates in a combative manner as if she’s upset with you. I, like others have stated, was ready to just walk out. Terrible bedside manner. You wait 30-45 minutes for a 1-2 minute rushed ”exam”. All for $70 copay? Never again.

Don't waste your time
Rude and dismissive. Disregarding everything I said. I got up and walked out. I was floored that she 'knew' better than my 20 year medical history but simply looking at me. I would recommend going to ANYONE else.

Disappointed patient – Jan 15, 2025

Unhelpful and dismissive
i was so upset by my last appointment that i have another appointment in Dec at UPMC. She spent less than 10 minutes with me and dismissed all of the (5) questions i had written down regarding my recent diagnosis for RA. She actually stood up and opened the door for us to leave as i was asking her my last question regarding starting pain management through the fibro clinic per my neurologist and she told me to just get on a stationary bike at a gym. I barely had time to stutter my response 'i can't move so i can't work. I can't work so i can't pay bills. I don't have money for a gym membership even if i could move to get there!!' and she finally acquiesced so i can start now that my most recent flare is finished. I left feeling even more confused since my questions were dismissed or barely answered (i've been noticing a rash-- 'you don't have Lupus.'; any other comorbidities i need to worry about because i-- 'no.', etc.) and i ended up sobbing to my husband.

Terrible
I have never in my life had such a terrible experience with a physician. She has, hands down, the worst bedside manner I've ever encountered. She was incredibly dismissive and seemed to believe that I was either lying about or exaggerating my symptoms. I'm not sure she even read my records prior to the appointment, as she completely ignored well documented diagnoses. It was evident that she made immediate judgments and never bothered to discuss symptoms, lifestyle, or treatments in a meaningful capacity. Most of the appointment consisted of 'yes' or 'no' questions, giving me no opportunity to present my concerns. She insinuated that my symptoms were psychological in nature despite objective medical evidence and prior testing proving otherwise. As a woman, I am incredibly disappointed with the level of bias from a female doctor. I might as well have been diagnosed with hysteria. Other women should avoid Dr. Adusumilli at all costs.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with any dr anywhere. I left feeling dismissed, defeated and so very frustrated. She didn’t listen to me at all, didn’t answer my questions, and decided before she even looked at me that my test results were all false positives. Apparently she should have her own Dr/psychic show to be able to determine that. Terrible bedside manner and an overall apathetic attitude.

I visited her twice...the first time as a consultation causing her to schedule a host of tests. The second time for her to tell me that all the tests were normal and for me to accept the 'fact' that my CK level (1763) was to be regarded as normal for me. Continued back and increased leg pain was apparently dismissed. I would not call her a doctor. Yesterday, I found myself having to use a wheelchair because I could not walk safely. Maybe she would say that is 'normal' as well.

A couple times she asked me questions and when I couldn't remember the right answer she would read the answer to me from my chart,,, so I wondered why she asked. Finally I said "if you have the answers can we just review them as opposed to me feeling like your trying to catch me saying something wrong. She did give me good advice and sent me for PT which is helping.

Does not explain anything. She literally types up the details of your visit the entire time you are there. Can be very rude. Terrible bedside manner. Does not offer any other options if you are getting worse, not better. Will not give a referral to another dr. Awful!
