Excellent physician for diabetes issues.
I found Dr Paul to be an excellent physician. I have seen him for nearly 30 years and have always trusted his input. I DO agree with comments about the staff. Some can be very unhelpful and I never know if Dr Paul gets my messages. I do not have this staff concern with any of my other doctors.

Disappointed
I got a referral several weeks ago and they have been hard to get a hold of , finally today , they answered , the lady who answered the phone, the way she talked to me and snappy , I would NEVER go somewhere where I already feel NOT welcomed too! Sad to because the doctor came highly recommended.

Endocrinology Dr. is best for Diabetes
At visits we dialog about past and current. Dr. looks at test results and adjust meds as necessary. A1c comes down. What else can you ask for? Dr. Paul works with me to keep things under control.

Dr Paul is very good, His staff is terrible. Staff is rude and not helpful. They lost my cancer biopsy for over a month. They fail to relay messages from the doctor. Dr. must grant permission for an appointment.

After being a 15 year patient of Dr Paul I decided to leave this doctor. Not knowing any better over the years it was the same appointment every year. I told him my concerns and symptoms and he simply ignored them for years. All he cares about is typing the information in his little computer as he barely listens to you. Don’t wast your time with this doctor. He truly doesn’t care about you or you problems. I’m sure it’s just a paycheck for himself. He is very unhealthy looking himself to be a doctor and his some of his staff are disrespectful and rude.

I have been seeing doctor Paul since 2016 and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I am a little shocked to hear some of the few negative reviews that were posted. I am a 49 year old female, I see him for a thyroid disorder and nodules. I was thoroughly impressed with the amount of time that he spent with me, the notes taken and the thoroughness of his questions and answers on my initial visit. I find his bedside manner to always be pleasant and I have great confidence in him. As far as the staff, I find them to be polite and professional 99% of the time. This is a very large and BUSY office... don't mistake busy for being short. Wait times can be lengthy on occasion, like most specialist and they definitely need to figure out a better way to keep patients safe during these times of covid, there are too many patients waiting in the waiting room together.

I’m a new patient with Dr. Paul. I felt waited a bit long considering covid-19 present situation. Dr. Paul could explain better plane of treatment. This is first time as well I been charged a high price too read my blood monitoring glucometer. I’m not sure he listened to my concerns & felt a bit rushed. He sent me for blood work. I had too call back his office for results that unacceptable in my book. I didn’t like the lab on site. I would prefer driving to Beaumont in Royal Oak, Mi where my results come to my portal on my charts on my cell. Staff could be friendlier. Unfortunately my former endocrinologist retired he was amazing. He called me himself with my blood results within a day or two. Not east too find good Dr. these days I felt Dr, Paul pushing a service that would be an extra cost out of pocket.

I have been seeing Dr Paul since 2006. He saved me from unnecessary surgery from another endocrinologist. He is always informative and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend Dr Paul.

Was not sure what to expect. I had to leave my previous endocrinologist because his office just got too busy and too big for them to handle. I like the personal feeling you get when you walk into this office. It is busy but not too busy for its patients! Dr Paul took his time when asking me questions and was very thorough. The staff are friendly and I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs an endrocrinologist. I am hoping my parents will move over to dr. Paul as well

Very short and judgemental with patients. Very poor bedside manner. If you ask him the relevance of a question he has asked, he will get very condescending and refuse to provide any relevence. Furthermore, you will leave with an agreed plan to manage your health, but that seems to change in his mind the moment you leave without informing you. The end result is that he forces you to schedule monthly exams or refuses to respond to insurance and medical supplier approval requests.

I have been a patient of Dr. Paul's for quite awhile. He is patient and takes the time to explain everything. He is very thorough with his exams. I do have one little complaint, out all of my doctors this office is the only one that my pharmacy and I both, have to contact the staff for a new script. Example, right now I have no needles to take my insulin with. Pharmacy faxed 2 requests. Perhaps Wed. is your day off, but I know you have the fax. Happens constantly.
