Throughout my recent health challenges—including a major open-heart surgery—I faced many complications, and, unfortunately, I experienced a lack of follow-up and aftercare from the hospital and surgical team at Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach. Despite scheduled post-op appointments, I was repeatedly canceled on and left to navigate difficult complications alone. The lack of attention and aftercare was disheartening and, at times, overwhelming. But in the midst of this experience, Dr. Ahmad went above and beyond, stepping in when he had no obligation to do so. He took the time to check on me, to ensure I wasn’t forgotten, and to offer the support and medical guidance I so desperately needed. He did this not because he had to, but because he genuinely cares for his patients. Dr. Ahmad is the kind of doctor this world needs more of—one who treats every patient with kindness, integrity, and dedication. His unwavering commitment to his patients’ well-being, his willingness to go the extra mile, and his compassionate heart deserve the highest recognition.
