Dr. Sally Sharp, MD

Dr. Sharp is the best. She's been treating my heart condition for about 12 years now. I feel great and she's always attentive to my medical needs as well as my overall attitude. I would recommend her to anyone needing her services and expertise.

Dr. Sharp was the doctor on call when I needed a doctors direction for my father with multiple heart problems. She didn't even call me back but had the answering service call me and deliver her unhelpful message. His symptoms changed for the better and I called for follow up advice and she again had the answering service call me back, even when I specifically told them that I wanted to talk to the actual doctor. NEVER have I had the answering service call me back when calling a doctor on call.

Dr Sharp is a very competant and caring doctor. She orders only the tests that are necessary to find out what the problem with your heart might be. I have been a patient of Dr. Sharp for at least 15 years now. I have all the confidence in the world in her and would recommend her to anyone looking for a professional and brilliant cardiologist. She does not rush through appointments. She LISTENS CAREFULLY to concerns and symptoms. She is on time with appointments.

All of my visits with Dr. Sharp have been very good . She seems to know what is best for me. So far all of her decisions have been spot on. So of course that makes my life better. And I like that.

I am more than happy to recommend Dr. Sharp to all. She had checked my medical history before she visited with me and was well aware of my problems with my heart. She is pro-active, which I greatly appreciate. She told me what was going on in my heart and what needed to be done next. She is my kind of doctor!

I have been a heart patient for about 8 years now. I pass up two local hospitals that are 10min away from my home and work, to drive an hour to St. Marks to see Dr. Sharp on a regular basis. It has proven to be very much worth the drive. I was at my wits end with repeated negative experiences with the Cardiologists/Pa's that practice out of two Hospitals close to my work and home. With Dr. Sharps direction in my healthcare, I am seeing improvements, and I have learned more about my conditions.

I started going to Dr. Sharp a little over a year ago due to our insurance having changed and I needed to find a cardiologist that our insurance accepted. My husband worked with someone who recommended Dr. Sharp. I feel like she listens to my concerns and I feel that she is very skilled in cardiology. I appreciate that when I have concerns that I can call and be seen within a relatively short amount of time. I have recommended her to others.

I recently had an appointment with Dr Sally Sharp regarding my cholesterol level being to high. I can't take steroids as I have experienced to many side affects with them. Dr Sharp and all of the staff working at the Heart Center were very helpful, friendly, and efficient helping me. The entire appointment was less that one hour. I didn't have to wait for anyone; it all just went like clockwork. I really appreciated Dr Sharps sincerity in getting to the bottom of what was going on.

Has always been there for me, keeping me healthy, and solving problems. She is the Best.

Dr. Sharp came highly recommended by my new internist. On the first visit she diagnosed a problem I had for 10 years and that several other doctors had missed even after numerous tests. Before surgery to correct the problem she performed several tests to be absolutely sure of her diagnosis and even got a second opinion. She visited me at the hospital after my surgery and followed up throughly and professionally until she was sure that the problem was corrected. I have complete confidence in her.

Dr Sharp was very friendly and professional. She took the time to explain all the tests I underwent and the eventual diagnosis they provided.

Dr. Sally Sharp is highly unprofessional. She was in the room with me 3 minutes. After the visit, I found out she erroneously diagnosed me with a condition that can only be diagnosed through blood work. Non of my prior blood work confirmed the diagnosis she made, nor did she order new blood work in order to be able to appropriately make the diagnosis. Appears to be a provider entering as many diagnoses as possible in order to bill at a higher rate. Excellent staff; terrible provider.
