My husband and I went to Dr. Nielson today and he is an outstanding doctor. He spent a lot of time explaining the test that my husband needed to have done and he was very thorough and thoughtful. We look forward to going back to him for future visits and know that my husband is in good care.

He has good bedside manner. But he misdiagnosed me. And I was put on medicine that effected my life badly for three years. He needs to do more research before prescribing patients medication. If looking for help with your heart, I would go to a different heart doctor that has more experience.

Dr. Nielson is very thorough in my visits, checking all the vital signs, etc. He's always very congenial and makes me feel st ease.

Dr. Nielson has been our Cardiologist for quite a few years. This was an annual visit for both my husband and me. He carefully monitors my husband's artificial heart valve and explains next steps as the valve will need replaced. Always easy to talk to and explains things in easy to understand language.

I am a new patient of Dr Nielson and came to him with concerning results from a Coronary Calcium test. He explained the results and discussed the many factors linked to heart disease. He scheduled me for a treadmill stress test the next day and made the effort to review the results straight after I completed the test. Fortunately the results were promising and Dr Nielson's knowledge and calm demeanor helped me through a challenging time. I am thrilled to have him on my care team.
