Thinks like a scientist, not a robot regurgitating information she learned in a textbook once. She looks at your whole health picture and is proactive about looking for answers and getting you the testing you need, rather than gaslighting you into thinking your symptoms are fake. Good bedside manner.

Several emails were sent of important nature and never responded even after a month. Finally decided to make an appointment. During the office visit she had not read the emails, looked at diagnostic results or had a clue what had been happening. My mother passing of cancer in 3 months with the same symptoms had no bearing as to the urgency of the situation. Did not refer to the appropriate specialist leaving me at risk. Provided incorrect information and responses that were confirmed to be wrong with other providers. Switching primaries is imperative. Pleasant person but not capable as a physician, sadly. Highly suggest trying a different FP.

Saw Dr Silva about suspected ADHD and she spent over an hour on the diagnosis and explaining the various options. Very happy with her thorough examination and patience. We had a follow up meeting after one month on a medication and she was highly responsive, kind, and diligent.

Dr. Mckenzie is caring and thoughtful. She always spends as much time as needed. She is awesome!
