Dr. Romel Antolin, MD

My water broke at 21 weeks. Went to local ED, who had Dr. Antolin take a look. He yelled a nurse in front of me, he provided me with vague answers to my questions, and he told me to "go home and hope that I stay pregnant for 2 weeks" until a level 4 hospital could do something at 24 weeks gestation. He also neglected to catch up the incoming dr on my situation before he left, so the incoming dr had no idea what was going on. I was discharged shortly after and was told to go home. I called my provider at a different hospital network who told me to go to the level 4 hospital immediately. They admitted me, gave me antibiotics, and kept me pregnant for 2 more weeks. I delivered my baby early, she had a lengthy NICU stay, but is now happy and healthy. Had I listened to Antolin, my baby would be dead. I understand that Antolin is not equipped to handle pre-term labor, but it is his responsibility as a provider to know where to refer and that viability is 22 weeks, not 24.

I was rushed into same day surgery. Dr. Antolin was very firm, letting everyone know exactly how he wanted things done, and as my OB/GYN for 6 years, and having delivered both of my babies I was more than satisfied that someone I trusted was taking control. He rushed down to ER and made sure he made me feel comfortable and explained everything. Very honest, hardworking doctor.

He is blunt about everything, makes you feel comfortable.

He has been my doctor for a few years now and he is amazing at what he does. He isn't the type to talk to you in doctor terms, he will talk to you like a normal human being to where you can comprehend and understand what he is saying. I'm always comfortable around him, and he was a good sense of humor. It's nice to have a down to earth doctor that knows what they're talking about!

I have had him as my doctor for multiple years. He is very quick on his feet and very sweet natured. He definitely has compassion for what he does. He was able to handle my high risk pregnancies and answer any questions I might have. He is an amazing individual and I really enjoy having him as my OB/GYN.
