Not my first choice
Dr. Schwartzman has Absolutely the worst bedside manner I’ve ever experienced.Did not listen to or address my questions or concerns. Also released me to work with no restrictions too early. You cannot get through by phone if there’s anything that needs to be discussed.Overall I would say this was probably my worst experience with any doctor.

Not a Doctor I would have chosen
What stood out is that he sarcastically said 'you ask so many questions'

Amazing Dr.
I have to say they don't make Dr's like Dr Schwartsman too often. He's very honest when he talks to you but never makes you feel less of a person when he states things. We all know we have bad habits that cause lots of our own health issues but he was great about offering ideas to improve the bad habits and improve a lifestyle. He went above and beyond to make sure I was getting taken care of as a patient and I will be forever thankful I made the appointment. He's such a soft spoken man and has great bedside manners. You certainly don't leave feeling like a number but you leave feeling well cared for.

SuperPATH right hip in September of 2018. Honestly, it felt better 30 days post surgery than my 2014 anterior approach hip replacement 4 years later. I chose the anterior approach because I did not want to deal with all the restrictions of a traditional posterior approach. The SuperPATH is a modified posterior approach but with no restrictions. No cutting of any muscles and then sewing them back together AND NO RETRICTIONS!! Dr. Schwartsman is absolutely a fabulous surgeon who cares about his work and the person he works on. Dan, the PA, is friendly, knowledgeable and a tremendous asset to Dr. Schwartsman. All too often people get hung up on "bedside manners." I care more about the quality of work and the level of expertise of the surgeon who will have my life and the quality of my future life in their hands. I am healthcare worker and my experience with Dr. Schwartsman and Dan was excellent. I would not hesitate to call on him and his scalpel once again if need be.

The best hip surgeon and I've had 2 in less than a year. Im not saying the first one was bad, but the screws didn't hold with the first hip pin. Originally he was thinking a full hip replacement?? I was already severely depressed, I mean im only 41. I landed on my butt perfectly to break my hip. He had an Idea my next appointment. Against his professional thought of Full hip replaceme, he thought we could re do it. Re do the hip pin??. It worked??and Im returning to work. 10/04/2020. Amazing surgeon. Someday maybe I'll try out the full hip. If or when I need a hip or knee, It will be Dr Roman Schwartzman??If you need a hip replacement you definitely need to see the surgery that only he 25 surgeons in the Nation are approved to do. Its impressive for sure. Ask to see the Video.

I met with the Dr. Schartsman last year in regards to a hip problem. I was referred to him by to friends for whom he had performed a hip replacement. My Dr. Rich McChrystal told me ten years ago I would need a new hip but to wait as long as possible. I waited as long as I could and 5 weeks ago Dr. Schartsman performed the surgery. He gave good information on the process. His PA Dan was awesome to answer questions. The surgery is a huge success! GREAT EXPERIENCE, highly recommend!!!

Dr Schwartsman is an amazing doctor. I recently had a total left knee replacement surgery and my healing process is going great. I almost always get to see him. Sometimes the PA but Schwartsman always sticks his head in to see how things are going. I even called the nurse once to ask a question and he got on the Phone to talk to me. His office staff is so friendly!! Also wait time when you have an appt is never very long.

I went to see him for knee pain and knowing I would need a knee replacement soon. They only took one x-ray of my knees. Dr Schwartsman never touched my knees, only looked at the x-ray and told me that I had the knees of a 66 year old (I was 45 at the time). He told me I needed surgery right away. I felt uncomfortable with his lack of a bedside manner and the face that he never examined me. Paid my co-pay and then the $105 bill they sent me shortly after. They still sent me to collections!

I got both a hip replacement and rotator cuff repair from Dr. Schwartzman. I breezed through both surgeries. I think he does great work. He does the Super Path hip replacement, which is much easier than the usual method. I am so thankful that I was referred to Dr. Schwartzman.

Terrible doctor! Had a second surgery to repair. What's worse is he will not listen and refuses to except that he ever did anything wrong. Stay away if you value your health.

I had a superpath implant surgery August 22, 2016. I was well prepared by Dr. Swartzman. The procedure went without a hitch. I am now 2 1/2 weeks post op with minimal pain and walking without assist. I just got off my riding lawnmower. I am a podiatrist and understand surgery and the potential for complications. I am very impressed with Dr. Swartzman and his team. I would highly recommend.

Had a full hip replacement using the super path method. Results were great. The procedure went flawlessly, I was up and walking the same day, and checked out by mid morning the following day. Great staff, super easy. Virtually no restrictions. I would highly recommend!

Dr. Schwartsman replaced my hip in Feb, 2016, using the SuperPATH method. Everything about the surgery and recovery was fantastic. Never any real pain, walking unaided three days later, and terrific mobility during recovery. Would highly recommend him and this procedure to anyone contemplating a hip replacement. Everyone I spoke to about him said he was meticulous and a perfectionist, and I believe he did a super job. He was very friendly and approachable with all my questions throughout.
