I was being seen by Chris Batista for some on going issues. I loved him as my Doctor. After some tests it was recommended that I have an endoscopy and colonoscopy, but I was assured that I would be asleep and not feel or remember a thing. I already had major anxiety and he assured me again that after the procedure I would be spoken to and have some results. Before the Procedure Dr. Longoria never came to meet with me or introduce himself to me. I asked for some anxiety medicine and they told me the doctor would come over and talk to me; he never did. I was still unaware of who Dr. Longoria was and when he started the procedure I had told him I was still awake and they put something over my mouth and I panicked trying to get it off and again told him I was awake. Then he continued the procedure. I was fighting him and that's when I felt hands holding me down and nurse telling me to breath through my nose, that he was almost done. I couldn't breathe and was gagging as he did the endoscopy. After he was done he did the colonoscopy and I felt a lot of pain and pressure, as well as felt like someone was blowing up a ballon inside of me. After he was finished with both procedures, they took me to recovery and Dr. Longoria never came over to talk to me like he was supposed to. The next day I called Chris Batista and he said that Dr. Longoria came in that morning stating that he no longer wanted to take on younger adults and that they needed an actual anesthesiologist. As well as that this wasn't the first time it happened before. I will never go back to this office even though I loved Chris Batista. Dr. Longoria should not be doing these types of procedures or able to continue working in medicine if he knew something was wrong and still proceeded with the procedure knowing full well I wasn't completely out yet.
