Dr. Rohit Mahajani, MD

All my experiences and visits with Dr. Mahajani have been wonderful. I often reach out to him through the Portal, and I get a response timely. He has a great bedside manner, listens and also has a good sense of humor which always helps when visiting any doctor!!

I want to give a shout to Dr. Mahajani and Desert Endoscopy Center. They were through, efficient and timely. While phone tag was played getting my appointment changed and that was frustrating. All was forgiven by everything else that was right.

Third colonoscopy and a endoscopy with Doctor Mahajani. Great bedside manner and professional. I have had no issues with the procedures. Wouldn’t trust any more than him.

I saw Dr. Mahajani just last week. I was going to get scheduled for a repeat colonoscopy. The greeting staff at the front desk are all so pleasant and very friendly! When I went to the exam room to consult with Dr. Mahajani, he asked questions and listened very carefully to me and the concerns I had. He is a very caring and compassionate doctor. I have referred him to my friend who is so disappointed in her GI specialist . I know she will like him and so will anyone else who is in need of a great GI doctor!!!!!!!

Tried to schedule an appointment but you will never get anyone on the phone, only voicemail. I can't receive inbound phone calls so after multiple rounds of phone tag I called another place and set up an appointment in 5 minutes. They are either way overbooked or severely lacking in front office personnel.

Dr. Mahajani became my GI specialist in 2024. I am very impressed that he took the time to carefully listen to me and then prescribed medication that has greatly improved my quality of life! More than 50 years of living with chronic UC has been difficult; I recommend Dr. Mahajani to anyone dealing with difficult digestive problems. In addition, his office staff is kind and compassionate.

Dr. Mahajani is very helpful and educated in what he does. He has a very sweet and compassionate bedside manner as well, which means just as much to ME as his educational background. His staff is SO friendly and fun. I definitely recommend his and his staff for all of your GI needs. My husband and I are both his patients.

I've been with Dr. Mahajani for a few years and will continue as needed. His demeanor is kind and caring. He actually cared what I had to say and how my life is going. He never seemed rushed or uninterested.

I was told I needed to have colonoscopy & would first need to consult gastroenterologist.This would be my first time having this procedure in AZ & was not familiar with any doctors. After reading the reviews of a few doctors, I selected Dr Mahajani based on the reviews AND how close he was to my home.He listened. And he asked questions.He cared and it seemed genuine.I’ve found that very few times w Physicians in Arizona.

Dr Mahajani always greets you and asks what if anything is causing you issues. He has a great bedside manner and explains what procedures are needed. He cares about what may be causing you problems. After the procedure he explains what he did and what he found.

I am so disappointed with my overall service. My first impression was excellent. I really liked Dr Mahajani. He was very respectful and seemed to be knowledgeable as well. I left my first and only apt on Aug 29th feeling really lucky to have found him. Now fast forward to Oct 2 I have had bloodwork and a ct scan done with absolutely no communication about any of my tests results. I even sent emails making sure they got results. Was told he did get my blood tests back and was waiting on ct scan and I would be contacted. Well all results have been in for weeks now and nothing. My blood results said inconclusive and retest in 3 to 6 months. But I am unsure if that is needed or not. So I’m still in pain, no results and now having some bleeding. But feel like with no communication I’m stuck trying to find someone else or just live with it until I have to go to the er. Just upsetting. Not a place I’d recommend at all.

No long waiting to see him.Very pleasant demeanor.Focus on listening to patient and asking lots of questions to determine a plan to solve the problem.Great overall experience.

Dr. Mahajani made everything easy for visits and scheduling test. He listened to my concerns and my knowledge of the reason why I was there. Couldn’t ask for more.

Dr. Mahajani has been my physician for probably over 20 years, and I can't thank him enough for his overall understanding of my medical needs and for his care regarding all aspects of my health. His knowledge has helped me in many other fields of medicine, and I so appreciate his kindness and his care.
