Needed a colonoscopy, he put down that i needed a diagnostic vs a preventative, i didnt know this was a thing until it was time for the procedure, which i waited 2 months to get. The reason this is relevant is because i had to pay out of pocket for something i didnt need vs my insurance paying for it. I told his office about it but said they couldnt do anything about it. I told them id rather cancel and they seemed to try to help by changing the surgical office making it sound like i wouldnt have to pay out of pocket, just to learn that i still did have to pay because he hadnt changed his recommendations but this was the day of the procedure. I'd never go back or recommend him or his office.

I was a patient of Dr. Khosla for about 4-5 years. I was having digestive issues my whole life and was recommended to see him. He diagnosed me with Crohn’s disease. He had me on so many immunosuppressive medications, corticosteroids, Remicade for years and I never got any improvement and he always says that’s part of the condition. It wasn’t until 2016 I moved to Michigan and went to U of M Ann harbor to see top specialists in the country. My doctor sat down with all her peers and took the time to review all my medical records from Dr. Khosla. Her and her peers all agreed I do not have Crohn’s. She ran some labs and turned out I’ve had H-pylori all those years and Dr. Khosla was too arrogant to look at the bigger picture and narrow down what the real cause is. She treated me with the recommended antibiotic treatment and my condition got much better. Fast forward 5 years later, I am a nurse now and recalling how Dr. Khosla went about my treatment was reckless and irresponsible.

Dr. Khosla is so knowledgeable, thorough and thoughtful. I’ve been going to him for years and will continue to do so. I trust him implicitly. I highly recommend him to everyone I know. My daughter just started seeing him also for her conditions and feels comfortable with him. I cannot say enough good things about him and he is well respected among his peers as well.

Excellent. He might focus on GI-hepatology, but he knows all the systems just as well; how they tie in and affect one another. Can't say enough good about him, both as a clinical specialist myself (I've worked with a few really good docs!) and a patient.

Oh my goodness. First of all, Dr. Khosla is a lovely human being. He listened to me describe my symptoms, and suggested a diagnosis that had never crossed my mind. After a colonoscopy and endoscopy, sure enough, he was right. The colonoscopy and endoscopy went smoothly, and on time. I woke up very happy!

A great doctor and would highly recommend Dr Khosla. After many years of suffering from ulcers and inflamation in my gut and no doctor able to explain to me why or how to treat this condition Dr Khosla did and has been treating me ever since. I was thrilled to find Dr. Khosla again after he left East Valley Gastro and started his own practice at Sonoran Gastro with Dr. Lowe!! I have seen Dr. Khosla for nearly a decade now. He & Dr. Lowe were the two most popular physicians among my fellow crohns patients. He is attentive, has excellent bedside manner & knows his stuff. My hubby sees him for his routine colonoscopies as well.

I have had major digestive problems for many years. I had a diagnosis from a Vascular surgeon and he needed me to find a Gastro dr. to help me through the vascular problem which affects my digestive system. He walked in and I told him what I needed and he refused to work with me stating all I need is a colonoscopy. I’ve already had 2 and I knew that was not the issue. In less than a minute, we were done. All for a $100.00! Shameful!

I like dr Khalsa . Seeing him for yrs . But went in to make apt with him as I had to cancel my apt when I went out of town. I have a.d.d. Though and kept forgetting to make new apt. . So I went into office when I was on my way home and told them I’d like to make my apt now. She told me she can’t do that . They only take Apts by phone. I said I won’t have phone for two days. She told me to find a pay phone. Really? You can’t make me one while here. I’ll forget again. So I asked if I could use her phone cause I don’t know where they have any pay phones around here . She said no and dismissed me like i was nobody she Just went on to next patient and said bye! I’ve been going there since 2008. So I decided to say bye also and never go back again. 2 people were listening and couldn’t believe how she treated me. One lady even as I was walking out in tears said I could use her phone. But I was humiliated by then and thanked her and left.

My experience seven years ago was so good that I returned to his office for a colonscopy after turning 60. I presented my insurance card (Florida Blue Cross Blue Shield) and was assured the procedure would be "in network and covered". I was also warned that I would have to pay for biopsy tests and results. All fair. However, after the procedure I received an invoice for $896 for an out of network anesthesiology service. Florida BCBS noted that it was my responsibility to pay. Had I known the procedure would result in out of network service charges I would not have proceeded. I can't believe it is even legal for a medical provider to misrepresent their service in this fashion. I have great respect for Dr. Khosla, but someone in his staff either made a big mistake or simply lied to me. I am extremely upset with this situation and won't be going back. I have included the office staff as part of the provider review.

After being a patient for a year+ prescribed multiple medications we previously found were outrageously expensive or were not effective. This cost me multiple days of time delay, all while suffering symptoms. This is data that is clearly stated on my records. Once I mentioned it, a reply of "oh yes I see that here.." was given. The basic duty of reviewing recent history of a patient when treating them seemed to be completely lost.
