I feel that I have Dr. Vannozzi to thank for me still being here to write this. He originally gave me an EKG and saw something he didn't like so he did an Angiogram, which turned out to be a blocked artery, They inserted 2 stents which opened it up, a few years went by with visits to Dr Vannozzi every 3 months. a few years passed and with regular visits for check ups, again Dr Vannozzi saw something he didnt like and did another angiogram, this time 100% blockage on the stented artery and another partially blocked, so off to do a double bypass. Dr Vannozzi always offered advise to me on how to avoid heart problems and was always concerned with any of my questions. His staff was always pleasant, and I actually enjoyed going to his office.

Run! Don’t go to him! He told my husband “your heart is better than mine”, 1.5 years later another cardiologist swiftly moved hubby to angiogram and stents and saved his life. One whole side of hubby’s heart not working, it even created its own vessels to the other side. Our cardiologist says it doesn’t happen overnight! Run!

I would have left a zero regarding this review if it was available. This physician is arrogant, condescending and self-important. He gave me a clean bill of health after the several office visits that insurance paid for. He never required any blood tests, labs or other diagnostics that I now know should be routinely performed by a cardiologist. A 2nd cardiologist performed an Echo-cardiogram and a Stress test which was not performed by this doctor. I now know that the symptoms for which I visited this doctor originally were due to a heart attack that was diagnosed today. As a result, I continued to work while suffering the effects of a heart attack for over a year before ultimately retiring before I dropped dead. It is unfathomable that a patient presenting with shortness of breath, dizziness and headaches upon exertion would not have the aforementioned tests performed by any reputable Cardiologist. I would not recommend this doctor to friends, relatives or even enemies.

Today was my initial appointment with Dr. Vannozzi and I was very satisfied. I found Dr. Vannozzi, his nurse practitioner, and Rose, his medical assistant to all be really patient and professional. Thank you.
