Dr. Robert Raines Jr, MD

Dr Robert Raines performed an ankle surgery on me in September 2023. I had a previous ankle surgery in 2020 which Dr Raines did not perform. Needless to say, if Dr Raines had done the 1st surgery there would not have been any need to have a 2nd surgery. I can't thank him and his team enough. I am no longer in any pain. Previous surgery was for my ankle which had been dislocated and badly broken. The hard wear put into my ankle was rubbing up against the tendon. I told previous surgeon I was in constant pain. Previous surgeon treated me like I was crazy and stated that I should not have any issues. Dr Raines removed scar tissue & hard wear from my ankle. I am much better off. No longer in pain. Dr Raines was also honest with me. Letting me know it was a very bad break to the ankle. Something the previous surgeon would never admit. I will continue to go to Dr Raines if I have any other issues. Dr Raines and his staff were excellent and very professional. I am glad I sought a 2nd opinion

Dr Raines repaired my Achilles tendon and I was taken such great care of! Also his nurse Kim was always so nice and always called me back with any issues or if I needed something. They make a great team! Thank you for caring and putting your patients first!!

Dr. Raines expertly repaired my severed Achilles tendon. The tendon had a large bone spur and much of it was not able to be salvaged to use in the repair. So he got very creative and clever and took another foot tendon to attach to what was left of my Achilles, looping it through two new holes in my heel. I am now 1.5 years post-op and doing very well. I was in extreme pain prior to his repair, unable to walk without a cane, cried daily, and lived on Aleve. Now I walk independently, and don't even notice my ankle. I consulted 3 surgeons and decided on Dr. Raines, and very glad I did. In addition to his skills as a surgeon, he provided me compassionate care, explained what he planned to do and what he did, and had a good sense of humor. His nursing and office staff were very helpful as well. I would recommend him to anyone with an ankle problem.

Absolutely fantastic. He walked me through the issue, solution, and recovery step by step and very clearly. Friendly in the office Nd seemed very efficient in the OR. EVERYONE that knew of him who asked about my surgery while I was in recovery had great things to say about him.

Dr. Raines repaired tendons to both my ankles. When I incurred foot pain due to a car accident, he caught the fracture that two other doctors had missed and did the repair. I'm an active guy, and Dr. Raines has enabled me to keep being active despite these injuries. After 3 foot/ankle surgeries, I hope to not need any more of this type. But, if I do, I will definitely see Dr. Raines.
