Dr. Safi Faruqui, DO

I waited over 30 minutes for the doctor to come see me . Not only that , he was very quick to dismiss me and just ask me what my job was . I was told to come back in a month ? And my hand was injured over 4 months ago .. I was never givin a call back either . I just was charged for the appointment and left neglected . This place is all in it for the money . Not your personal well being or health at all !

Dr. Faruqui has good doctor-patient relationship, is knowledgeable and courteous. However, we had to wait OVER an hour in the waiting room, then another 15 min. in a patient room before seeing him. No apology on the long wait. Not acceptable to make a patient wait 1 hr 15 min. to see a doctor for 10 min.

I was referred to Dr Faruqui for trigger finger of one finger on both hands. I went thru the series of treatments that included cortisone shots, surgery, prednisone, and physical therapy. I never experienced an appointment with Dr Faruqui that lasted more than 3 minutes with the exception of the surgery. It seems this Dr and Beacon Orthopedics operate based on quick turnover of patients for maximum revenue with little regard for the outcome. Physical therapy was a joke. Housed in an office about the size of the average living room and kitchen, it is NOT set up to help patients. It Is set for volume and turnover which maximizes revenue. The last act from this Dr was to schedule an appointment which I arrived on time. I was called to the examination room 1 hour and 45 minutes beyond my appointment time and sat there for an additional 25 minutes. When the Dr came in he quickly dismissed the issues with a statement that I should go to physical therapy...again 3 minutes and gone.

Dr. Faruqqi is one of the best doctors I've ever been to (top 3). He genuinely cares about his patients. He plays an active role in improving your health, and takes a team approach to managing your health conditions- as in you and him are a team working together to improve your health. He will help you in any way he can, he has reviewed notes I've taken on other health conditions, offered advice on how to prepare for important appointments, and is concerned about my overall health, and other factors in my life, versus just the piece of it that he manages. His bedside manner is excellent, he is extremely compassionate and caring. He takes the time to get to know you as a person, not just a patient. He listens to you intently, and addresses all of your questions and concerns. I highly recommend him. He is an amazing doctor. I wish I could give higher than 5 stars.

I had a crushed bone in my long finger. Dr. Faruqui reassembled my finger so well that just 4 months after surgery I have regained full use of the finger and have returned to work! He's an excellent craftsman. He listened to my concerns and answered with words I could understand. Highly recommended!

Dr. Faruqui listens and explains details better than any doctor I have seen. He was able to restore function to both of my hands. He is a very carrying person.

Dr. Faruqui is one of the best doctors I've ever been to. He was careful, thoughtful and thorough in getting information about my condition, not just using tests and images, but taking time to ask me questions and listen to my concerns. He demonstrated true respect and care.

Skilled and very caring. This is a surgeon who really listens and follows up. Highly recommend! Great office staff too.

Dr. Faruqui is great. Besides being an excellent doctor he is very kind and compassionate. He has high standards for his work and his support team. He listens to his patients and treats each with dignity and respect. He is A#1.

Dr. Faruqui not only saved my hand function, but he saved my sanity. After a horrific car accident, I was left with a completely crashed arm. As a physician, I thought I will never regain my function. But 2 surgeries and 5 months later, I am back to work, pain free, and I owe everything to Dr. F. He explained everything to the detail, kept me part of the decision making, and is the best doctor I have ever had. He will change the way you think of orthopedic surgeons. I recommend him to anyone!!

I would highly recommend Dr. Faruqui to anyone that would need a hand specialist. I never had any problems with my wrist after surgery (which was totally amazing). Didn't have any pain at all. The staff was great & Dr. Faruqui listens to his patients. He explained my surgery to me so I knew exactly what to expect. And I had 2 follow-up appointments after the surgery, which was fine because he wanted to make sure that I wasn't having anymore problems.

I would recommend Dr. Faruqui and his staff to anyone who needs an Ortho Hand Surgeon. On average, the wait time in the waiting room was about 10 mins. His nurse, Susan, was so pleasant and professional. The scheduling staff and the x-ray technicians were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Faruqui explained my injury and took the time to show me my X-rays each visit so I knew how my healing was progressing. He was very professional and personable.

Dr Faruqui is very professional and explains procedures clearly and has a great sense of humor. I would definitely recommend Dr Faruqui to friends and family!!

Its very special to have complete confidence in a physician. I've been proud to be a patient of Dr. Faruqui for 2 years. He always take a his time with my visits. He often plays with my toddler when I don't have a sitter. He has the best attitude and demeanor. I wish he could be my primary care physician. Lol. His staff, especially Susie always go above and beyond to accommodate my needs and schedule. I will tell anyone about this awesome office! 2 surgeries. Zero pain. Zero swelling. The best!

Dr. Faruqui and his staff have been taking care of my medical condition for about 9 months now. I cannot say enough about this group they are awesome. Very friendly staff from the time you walk in the office until you leave the appt. Dr. Faruqui is very good at explaining everything and letting you know what the next step is in his treatment plan. I absolutely trust his decisions and would highly recommend him to anyone. Susan Kolkmeier is absolutely wonderful as well.

I was very impressed by the friendliness and professionalism by Dr. Faruqui and his staff! Everyone was friendly and courteous from the time that I made the phone call to schedule my appointment, to the time that I left his office. I was seen within 15 minutes of my appointment, and Dr. Faruqui and his staff spent sufficient time with me and answered all of my questions!

He has been taking care of me for over a year and done three surgery on me and he did very good. I come to anybody he is a good doctor and he cares about his patients and their well-beings.
