Dr. Morrow and what happened to him?
Dr. Morrow was my PCP for over 20 yrs. and he was always great. Fortunately I had few medical issues, but when I did some of the referrals were inadequate when compared to Dr. Morrow. But when Essen came in, the practice became a disaster as appointments were canceled, sometimes without notice and then Dr. Morrow just disappeared and there was no information. Now someone sees his patients on Wednesdays only. Clearly a mess.

Dr Robert Morrow
I have been going to Dr. Morrow for at least 30 some years if not longer. He has treated my husband as well as me and we have never been disappointed. He has also treated my sons. Now since Essen has taken over, things have changed. He is still the same caring professional, but working under a stressful situation. He’s caring and very professional. I don’t look forward to having to find another PCP with the same qualities that he exhibits.

this is very concerning after 31 plus years. I have been calling Docs office for over two weeks and no one answers the phone, however the website says the office is open. not ever an answering machine so you can leave a message. this is truly not a reflection of concern Doctor he has been for the last three decades

Terrible Office/Care
The primary reason I chose his practice was that it was two blocks from my apartment. The practice is horribly managed, the staff rude and incompetent. He certainly doesn't rush his patients, but much of every visit is wasted listening to him complain about his electronic medical records or brag about his "superior" grasp of evidence-based medicine. He is always running late, sometimes by more than an hour. The culmination for me was that Dr. Morrow sent no communication whatsoever to his patients during the COVID crisis, regarding the closing of his office or anything else. I called his office on 4/26/2022 to inquire about a prescription for an anti-viral, after testing positive for COVID, and was told that "Dr. Morrow does not prescribe those drugs," even though every MD in New York was able to prescribe them by then.

Dr. Morrow is nice but his staff are quite difficult to deal with. Multiple mistakes in dealing with insurance. Combative over the phone. Difficult to get prescriptions refilled. Very frustrating.

The staff and the doctor are extremely frim friendly and this Harley ever a wait longer than 10 minutes because he doesn't over book. Besides this I was surprised to see that I was able to receive my results of my A1C test the same day I was there. Normally when I used to go to my older PCP I would take the test and they couldn't tell me until 2 weeks later so this was a big surprise to me I highly recommend this doctor and it's practice
