Dr. Robert Defatta, MD

Dr. DeFatta is a great practitioner and made my wifes first experience fantastic! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for services.

This all was about 3 yrs ago. Said my then baby had allergies causing loud snoring and nother sleep issues, took him to someone else turns out his tonsils and adenoids were larger than normal causing blockage of his airways during sleeping. Now myself, he was too busy for calls so I messaged about my ears feeling full/stuffed harder to hear, took a week for his wife, not him to massage back asking if the issue was still ongoing. Then soon after I went in to an apt about my hearing test. He walks in asks if my ear was still feeling that way. I said not at the moment and he saying something like good to hear and walked out. No talking about what it could have been or how to treat it and definitely did not get the results of my hearing test which is what the apt was for.

I had allergies and he helped treat my terrible skin rashes. 3 years on and I have no problem and am able to hunt and garden with no problems!

Very disappointed with his treatment of patients - had a very rough recovery from a tonsillectomy including two huge blood clots that I choked on and threw up. His only words to me were that he has heard men complain more than me...

He will take your money and laugh all the way to the bank with it. He treats staff like garbage and everyone is below him. Definitely scroll down a bit and check his background info. These are very relevant to how he is today and how he continues to treat his patients.

In it for the money not for the patient. So incredibly disappointed with him and Oakleaf Surgery Center.

I have seen Dr. Defatta for a couple years and have heard bad reviews but I refuse to believe any of it. He has been nothing but a great person to me and taken care of me. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Defatta: great personality but care-wise: questionable. He said I needed tubes put in my ears & under light sedation would be easy in & out proc. Later I was told I wasn't still enough, so, without my knowledge or consent, he put me under GENERAL Anesthesa, put the tubes in & left. I woke up several hours LATER in a dark room, alone & confused. Later, a different ENT dr discovered the tubes were put in CROOKED & WRONG!. My ear drum has a permanent hole it it now! Worse off now than before!
