Dr. Carangelo is an awesome Doctor and Surgeon. He cares about his patients, and is very skilled at Hip Replacements, which is what I had. My surgery went without a hitch, and I am now living pain-free. His staff is also top-notch. I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Carangelo or his medical team. They are all super!

Dr Carangelo did both my TKRs 12 weeks apart and both times were great! I am a bigger guy, was bone on bone in both knees and couldn't walk anymore. Dr. Carangelo listened to my concerns about the surgeries and answered all my questions. I put in the post op work/exercises and was diligent about my PT appointments, and I couldn't have ended up in this good a place if it wasn't for Dr. Carangelo and his staff. The experience at the Bone and Joint Center was also outstanding.

Excellent surgeon who did my total hip replacement almost three months ago. As busy as he is, he always makes the time to answer questions and give helpful hints to speed the recovery time. He is always in a good mood and is genuinely happy to see his patients. The patients in the waiting room are eager to share their experiences with him and give raving reviews to first timers waiting for their first consult. When I was referred to Dr Carangelo for hip replacement surgery, I was nervous. I have never had any major surgery. After my first appointment with Dr Carangelo, it made me feel more at ease and his whole care team were with me through the whole process. The app is a great tool to follow. I have been a patient of Dr. Carangelo since 2004; I have had three arthroscopic procedures and both total knee replacements. He is the most sociable physician I have ever had. He does not rush through patient visits, he takes time with each patient to ensure they understand what was discussed and answers all their questions; never rushing them. I live one hour away from his office and would not consider any other orthopedic surgeon! I recommended him to my son for a partial knee replacement and arthroscopy procedures and other family members as well.
