Dr. Blasberg was very patient and professional. He answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable with my prescription. The staff was helpful. Thank you Dr. Blasberg!

HORRIBLE doctor, HORRIBLE bedside manner, RUN
I went to see him for eye ptosis and vision changes. I had blurry vision and double vision. He was ABSOLUTELY terrible from bedside manner to consulting. He was so rude, didn't help me at all, yelled at me for no reason when I insisted I was having issues, dismissed me, and I reported him to management right away. SHAME of a doctor to treat your patients like that especially when they come in with all respect. RUN the other way. He should have his license taken away.

Avoid Thomas Eye Group
Dr. Blasberg fine but a little sketchy on the subject of upsell medically unnecessary, high margin lenses. As far as the rest of the functions there -- accounting, support staff -- the major emphasis is on upsell -- convincing patients to buy high profit, medically unnecessary lenses. Medicare doesn't cover them. Why? Medically unnecessary. Example: they asked me to sign a form that they said was to get reimbursement from Medicare for a 'special' eye test. Medicare of course wouldn't pay for it because its sole purpose is to support their sales presentation of why the 'premium' (read high margin) lenses are more desirable. At that point, in addition to cataracts, I had blurry vision from the drops they put in my eyes, and couldn't read the contract. i signed it. Their billing department is now like a pit bull with a grip on my ankle.

First appointment with Dr Blasberg
Dr Blasberg and his staff were professional and courteous with dashes of humor. The checkout at front desk was exceptionally pleasant. I would definitely recommend Dr Blasberg, his staff and Thomas Eye Group in Sandy Springs.

Dr. Blasberg was very invested in figuring out what was going on with my eyes. He was helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. He did my cataract surgery a few years later and my sight is better than ever!

This doctor has no regard for his patients' time or comfort. No matter what time you schedule your appointment, he will keep you waiting an absurd length of time. When he finally stops ambling around the office and sees you for all of 5 minutes, he will obviously be totally bored by having to examine your eyes. If he concludes that you need a procedure, he won't explain it to you but will just thrust a brochure into your hands. This practice is interested only in dollar signs.

I also felt he was very condescending and just a very miserable person. No opportunity to ask questions at all. Thought maybe just having a bad day as we all do but the other reviews confirm that is his style. I have had problems with my eyes for a while and basically he just told me I was wrong and get Thera Tears from drugstore.

Awful experience. Rude, marginally competent, and unable to explain options. I cannot describe how powerless he made me feel - only because I don't have a medical degree, and despite all my education, he managed to make me feel like a teenager faking an eye problem. Please save yourself the aggravation and find another doctor.

His staff was wonderful but the Doctor was rude and condescending! He seemed to be in a hurry and was very dismissive and spent a total of 2 min with me after I waited an hour and a half to take him . I will never be back yo this provider and would recommend against using this provider!

Thomas Eye Clinic's facility is state of the art. Personnel are friendly and efficient, and Dr. Blasberg is exceedingly easy to talk to; more importantly, he listens and responds to questions. High marks.

Excellent in every facet....from the moment I walked in til the moment I walked out. Greta and Dr. Blasberg were exceptional, as was Daniel in the eyeglasses department. I, previously, had similar experiences when taking my grandson there.
