The only surgeon I would let operate on me !!!
He's remarkable in his field of expertise, great bedside manner, very skilled in both shoulder and knee replacement. He has worked on me several times over the 15 yrs, replacing my right shoulder with a reverse shoulder and he's has worked on my knees.

Shoulders and knee
I've had Dr Bain repair both of my shoulders. They were trashed. He said some of the worst he's seen. Yesterday I had total knee replacement. Have needed it for a long time. I'm home feeling great, walking (using a walker) but walking, even did a few stairs. I wouldn't have anyone else repair my orthopedic injuries. He's a 10 of 10 in my book!

He improved my quality of life
Dr. Bane has been my orthopedic surgeon for many years now and has performed 3 major surgeries on me...2 shoulder replacements and 1 knee replacement. His skills are evident in the success of my surgeries. Due to having Polio at a young age my joints have deteriorated faster than average. Because of this I required the joint replacements that Dr. Bane provided. Not only did they eliminate the pain I experienced but they also allowed me to stay active. I couldn't be more grateful to Dr. Bane and his team.

As a student athlete at UOI, my son was under Dr. Banes care for a knee injury. I found Dr. Bane to be pessimistic. Not sure if what ongoing education is requires but when getting 2nd & 3rd opinions from NFL doctors and sharing Dr. Banes feedback others strongly disagreed with his recommendations. It’s my belief for our experience that Dr. Bane is on UOI payroll and does what’s best for the program not the athlete. Thankfully we we went elsewhere.

Had a very bad experience with hip replacement surgery done by one of his cohorts. Asked to see him to get a second opinion. I was kept waiting for more than an hour; finally an assistant came and said Bane refused to see me because of "professional courtesy" toward his cohort. Terribly UNprofessional.

Dr Bane was nice but I have gotten worse since my surgery. I’ve called their office and the staff is rude and act as if I am a complete bother to them . I would not recommend.

Dr. Bane has done a major knee surgery, replaced a knee, and rebuilt a shoulder for me. I need surgery on my other shoulder, and I'm definitely going with Dr. Bane.

When Dr. Bane reviewed my shoulder MRI, he was concerned about a mass that was right in the area of a rotator cuff repair entry. Rather than guess, he referred me to a specialist in Chicago. Mass removed. Thank you, Dr. Bane.
