Dr. Christopher Graves, MD

I experienced a cervical spine injury from a fall. The day of the accident I was air lifted to Springfield Memorial Hospital. After assessment I was blessed that Dr Graves was on call that night. He preformed surgery that night to fuse C-spine. After surgery he advised my family that a 2nd surgery might be necessary. Even though it was a holiday weekend, when my wife told him Sunday-Monday would be the best day for my 2nd surgery he said no problem I'll assemble my team. I still have a long road to recovery but I know that Dr Graves and his staff have given me the best opportunity to recover to a somewhat normal life. From my experience I can say Dr Graves bedside manner and compassion are above and beyond the standard! He done everything possible to give me quality of life after a near fatal injury. I will sing Dr Graves praises from now until the end of time. You could not ask for better care!

I had to wait over an hour passed my appointment time to see Dr. Graves . Immediately felt rushed with no time to ask questions. He was on and out in 5 minutes ! Going once more to see him but if have the same results I'm done with him

I went to see Dr. Graves for back injections. He had me get two MRI’s and do physical therapy in order to get those injections. (I didn’t want any of that) And when the back injections didn’t work, I had a follow up appointment. I had a small bill of $1400 that I paid on monthly. When I went for my follow up, he wouldn’t see me unless I paid 50% of that bill right then and there at the desk. Needless to say, I’ll find another doctor!

The great Doctor was kind and right to the point of what the problem was and how he would fix it. knew exactly what was wrong with me and he graciously rushed me into his schedule. Iam very thankful for this amazing human for allowing me to be able interact with my sons without pain or struggle. Words can't really describe anything about this amazing man. Thank you once again for saving my life

Dr. Graves is a kind, compassionate, caring doctor. I felt at ease with him on each of my visits. He 'gave me my life back' after back surgery. I am now able to do the things I did before I had my back issues. I trusted him with my back surgery, and I trust him with my upcoming neck surgery.

I started seeing Dr. Graves in February of last year. I have been so thankful for the care that I have received. 30 years ago I had back surgery with spinal fusion, and because of the pain I was in, Dr. Graves was able to perform a surgery at the end of October that fused the rest of my spine to improve pain. His confidence was reassuring, especially not knowing what would happen after the surgery. For those reading this review, my case was very complicated and he did an amazing job. So yes I highly recommend him. I am so thankful to God for gifting doctors with what they do, all glory to Him. Thank you, Dr. Graves, for tackling my complicated case!

Dr. Graves is friendly, informative and thorough in describing options for care other than surgery if at all possible. Makes you feel comfortable the minute he walks into the room. Top notch.

Nice guy, I don’t like going to doctors as most don’t, but felt really comfortable with him and to the point and professional.

I healed quickly and was back to work. Surgery was quick a little discomfort the first few days after. Healed up nicely and now I have no pain.

Dr Graves am still waiting to get the procedure done. Now they are telling me i have to be out of the nursing home before they will pay. Dr Graves im tired of waiting for this procedure to be done. I’m so excited that i finally have a Dr to help me. You are great and I’ve told several people about you. Great personality goes a long way.

I was 80 years old when I had a lumbar surgery to fuse 4 vertebrae together because I had constant pain from my sciatica nerve. I was unable to sit or stand due to the pain. I was so miserable for a long time. Dr. Graves performed the surgery 6 months ago and I am now back to living a normal life again. I can not thank Dr. Graves and his staff enough for the care they provide for me.

Very thorough, patient and answers all questions. Isnt in a rush to get you in and out. I have great confidence in him and am not worried about anything ahead of me.

Dr. Graves is a talented and skillful surgeon. When I was faced with a highly invasive back surgery Dr. Graves determined that an alternate procedure would resolve my stenosis. And he was right. I was released from the hospital the following day. I must include however, that his second most outstanding quality is his kind and compassionate manner. Dr. Graves will go far beyond the call of duty to reassure his patients during a crisis. I could never thank him enough for all he did and I highly recommend him for anyone needing back surgery.

However office staff is difficult to work with. Dr. Graves’ bedside manner is outstanding.

I had neck surgery. Dr. Graves and his staff did an excellent job. My pain has eased and I have my smile back.

He did my back surgery in May 2022. It really helped me. He is a very kind and considerate doctor that explains everything to you.
