Five stars are not enough for Dr Kalra
I was suffering from Spinal Stenosis, I could only stay on my feet a few minutes, So Dr. Kalra performed surgery on my spine, I was able to go home the same day and after just 1 week I felt like I was completely back to normal; The surgery has been a complete success, and I highly recommend Dr Kalra, He’s an excellent surgeon. He does great work.

My life is back
Dr. Kalra has performed back surgery on my husband and myself. There is no one else I would recommend. My "annoying" back problem drastically changed just before the holidays. His office staff was very helpful and responsive. They worked me into his schedule and I had surgery a week later. I was well informed and prepared for what to expect after surgery. This was 10 days before Christmas. Dr. Kalra was with family at Christmas, but he made sure I was aware who I could reach if I had any concerns or pain issues (which I didn't need because the unbearable leg pain was gone when I woke up from surgery). The first week after a spinal fusion is full of ups and downs, but I was so well informed of what to expect. Recovery is much easier when your mind is at ease and you know this is a process, not a magic quick fix. I am so incredibly thankful for his skills as a surgeon, his judgment as a clinician and his kindness as a human being. Dr. Kalra and all his staff are simply the best!

Successful Surgery
I had a disc herniation and was offered by 2 different surgeons a lumbar fusion (360). Dr. Kalra did a 30 minute microdiscectomy and I went home the same day. I am 4 months pain free.

I have had a great experience with Dr. Kalra! He was my second opinion and gave me options that I did not realize I had. He really cares for his patients and will spend as much time with you as you need to answer all your questions. His team worked extremely hard with my difficult insurance to get the surgery approved that was best for me. I am a young mom who could no longer spend time with or take care of my kids due to pain. Now I am pain free and can do all the fun things with my kids again! I have my quality of life back!!

Dr Kalra is the best! Everyone in the entire office is so helpful and kind. Dr. Kalra saved me from having a major surgery and gave me alternatives that my previous doctor did not. He listened to my concerns and made sure I was 100% comfortable with the treatment plan.

Dr. Kalra is essentially everything you could hope for in a doctor. He spends time with his patients, listening to their concerns, and explaining them in a way that is consumable for you to understand. He gives you all of your potential options, and always reminds you that the decision is yours to make, and he is here to support you. Finally the results have been amazing. My back feels the best it has in 10 years. He has made it possible again to get on the ground and play with my children, when it felt like it would never happen again.

Dr. Kalra resolved my spinal arthritis flare-up quickly and easily. He began with the least invasive approach, muscle relaxants and an NSAID, along with physical therapy, and these eliminated all my pain within a month. He and his staff were great to work with, as they listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions in detail. I highly recommend Dr. Kalra to anyone with spinal issues.

I was referred to Dr. Kalra after having neck pain from an 18 wheeler accident. The neck pain had not resolved with other treatments at a previous doctor. My first visit with Dr. Kalra was so informative. He read my history from the previous doctor and was well versed on my situation before meeting with me the first time. Unfortunately the only option was surgery. Dr. Kalra and his staff made me feel very comfortable about the surgery and included me in my treatment plan. I was afraid and he and the staff made me feel heard and calmed me as much as possible. Before the surgery could take place, the injury became worse. Dr. Kalra and his staff made time for me emergently and pushed my surgery up as far as they could. The surgery was a success!!!! I am 2 months post op and i have zero pain, no tingling, no headaches and full range of motion! THANK YOU DR KALRA

Dr. Kalra explained everything to where we could understand why I was having so much pain. He took the time to listen to me and my husband. He answered all our questions. He even had me do a second MRI (at no extra cost) to make certain the second disc needed to be replaced because the first image wasn't as clear as he would have liked. He is one of the kindest doctor's I have had the pleasure to work with. As a surgeon, I would consider him one of the best! I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I had suffered with chronic hip and leg pain for several years until I was referred to Dr. Kalra. After my surgery and recovery period, the pain was gone and I felt that I could enjoy all of my normal activities as I transitioned from recovery to physical therapy and beyond. I followed all of the doctors orders to the letter such as not bending or lifting too soon which I really felt contributed to such a great outcome.

I've been putting off the possibility/necessity of a 360 L4-5 surgury for some time. I'm an active 70 yr. play pickleballold female. Dr. Kalra listens to his patients and provide an honest personal opinion. I was told that I would undeniably know when surgery was necessary. He explained the benefit of doing the 360 approach and I am grateful for his expertise as this was one of the best surgical experiences I've had. I had a very positive outcome and released to play pickleball after 8 weeks! It's only human to be fearful of having a surgery, but you'll be in good hands with Dr. Kalra and his medical team. Highly skilled, compassionate, with a good bedside manner best describes this doctor and his practice. I would highly recommend Dr. Kalra and his amazing team.

My expierence was very easy. I came in for a consultaion, made a apt for surgery, got the surgery, and am on my way to recovery now. The surgery was difficult, but none of the difficulty was created by Dr Kalra or his staff. Any time I needed to talk to someone, make an appointment, or get questions answered, I was always able to reach somone, and I got what I needed. I truly believed that this process would be impossible. I was sure something would go wrong, and that I would suffer forever, but it didn't go this way. Dr Kalra is skilled. He knows his craft, and is way ahead of the curve when it comes to being a comforting presence. This dude has your back (pun intended)
