Unable to operate without help.
Dr. McKenzie is a perfectly fine doctor but for some reason he couldn't do my operation without assistance from and orthopedic spine surgeon. Dr. Bassett assisted him and everything went well but if I could do it over again, I would just go straight to Dr. Bassett so that I wouldn't have so many doctors appointments.

Dr McKenzie is rude, brash, callous, and unprofessional. He doesn’t care about the patient’s concerns. He doesn’t want to hear questions. If you don’t need surgery, he rushes you out the door with no concern for your thoughts and feelings. He is sarcastic and hateful. He may have experience and knowledge, but his bedside manner is horrible. I pray I never have to see him again.

Talked to Dr. McKenzie about my back and he tells it like it is with no sugar coating. Not only did he tell me he showed me the x-rays and pointed to what he was talking about. He told me what was going to happen and what to expect. Had two spinal surgeries in two days. Had to go through my stomach on the first one and in the back on the second one. I was up and walking the next day. I'd recommend him to others and have done so.

Dr. McKenzie performed a diskectomy and fused my L4-L5. I was in severe pain before but have been very pleased with the results since. I was able to walk within 3 days and within 2 weeks I was able to walk a couple of miles per day. I was able to return to work within a month and now that I am 6 months removed from the surgery, I am better than I have been in 20 years. I heard a lot of horror stories about this type of surgery but I would recommend Dr. McKenzie to anyone suffering from pain.

He didn't hold back on anything. About had me in tears. Did the fusion on c6 and c7 and I was up in hours walking around. I've had no problems. He did a good job.

Dr Mckenzie performed my neck surgeries. He did a great job, and I woke up instantly relieved! He tells it like it is, so don't expect him to sugar coat anything. I saw him at work in the OR when I was in the radiography program and knew that, if I ever needed help, he would be the surgeon I wanted
