Great experience
Great! Kind staff. Punctual. Made an effort to accommodate me for a last minute cardiac preop. I usually go to UTSW, but their cardiac department was so rude and entitled, I switched, and I'm happy I did. I recommend.

Professionalism 'to a tee!'
Dr. Ammar continues to provide me with exceptional medical care by candidly and clearly discussing my medical treatment and concerns at each visit. His caring 'bedside manners' are genuine, encouraging, and supportive. Although he has relocated to Richardson from Plano, I will gladly traverse the extra mile to obtain his professional care.

Positive experience with this doctor. He seems to be very personable and down to earth, but scholarly and professional in his approach in "attacking" the problem at the time. I only met him in the hospital and was impressed I would not hesitate to call on him for treatment when necessary. He has the typical professionalism and human interaction I have come to expect from his associated doctor's group, "HEARTPLACE". They have, apparently, spend great efforts in securing the best and the brightest, as evident in Dr. Ammar and Dr. John Bret. Nothing but good things to say here, although, since I've never met Dr. A's medical staff, I can't say one way or the other, other than to say my telephone experience with his staff was good. Thanks!

Desperate for help and not understanding what was happening with my husband we ended up in Dr Ammar’s care. He took my husband on as a patient and for the first time in 34 years my husbands extremely high blood pressure has been lowered to normal. The road has been long with a stroke and pacemaker surgery, but Dr Ammar went through it with use and held our hand throughout the journey. Dr Amman saved my husbands life, and gave me my life back. He is nothing short of a miracle.

Dr. Ammar and his team are exceptionally professional, caring and efficient. I’m very pleased and confident in the care I’ve received for my HBP, arrhythmia and syncope. I’ve seen other cardiologists in the area and elsewhere in the country, and feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Ammar and Texas CardioVascular Specialists.

as a patient, a recommendation is to weak of a word for me to express to anyone hig highly I regard - and trust with my life - Dr. Ammar. Dr. Ammar acted with passion, compassion and expertise in rapidly diagnosing and addressing my personal health - in less than a week. As a former Paramedic, my self-diagnosis was not good. Dr. Ammar's friendly, open approach the very first time I met him put me a ease. At that moment, I knew i was in excellent hands. Outstanding!

A year ago May 2016 I made the decision to pick up the phone and call "911". It was the best decision on my life. At that time I was introduced to a young doctor, Dr Richard Ammar, who not only saved my life but put me on a program to change bad habits and learn to live a healthy lifestyle. Over time he has not only become my cardiac doctor but a friend. I own what I am today to his expert knowledge and care. Thank You Dr Ammar. I am so luck to be part of the Texas Cardiologists family.
