Dr. Rene Williams, MD

Dr. Williams is an exceptional doctor. He respected my birth plan and delivered my first born daughter. I had the best experience with him throughout my checks ups and delivery. He’s extremely knowledgeable and cares about his patients. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Williams is by far the best OBGYN I have ever visited. He is calm, patient, understanding and genuinely cares about his patients. He even recognized me outside of his office one day and introduced me to his wife. Anyways, I made an appointment for an annual and continued coming here for other care that I needed. After just a few visits he had a hunch that I may have endometriosis and after a surgery he confirmed I had stage 2 endo. I don’t think I would have been diagnosed as quickly by another doctor, as he took the time to actually listen to me and he obviously is experienced with endometriosis. He performed laparoscopic ablation surgery to remove it and I feel it was a success. He got me in touch with a physical therapist (Brandi Moffatt, another life saver!) after my surgery to follow up with my other symptoms. I’ve moved away from Redding and have yet to find another OBGYN that has the bedside manner of Dr. Williams. I can’t say enough positive things about him.

He is the most caring doctor I’ve ever had. I truly wish he could be my general doctor. I cried at my last appointment post baby. I had a very difficult pregnancy, but he was always calm and gave me great advice on how to feel better mentally and physically. I ended up having to have an emergency csection and my scar is so beautiful! It is thin, healed beautifully, and you can’t even tell it is there unless you really look. When I have another baby I will definitely be going to him! I recommend him to everyone I know!

You saved my baby's life. I will forever be grateful. You were not my doctor, but I was at mercy for a stress test on saturady. I wouldn't be back to my doctor until Wednesday. You walked in and said I am not your doctor, but I want to see if you're coming back tomorrow. I said no, and you said something didn't look right and that I should come back Sunday. Thanks! You saved my child and possible my life. I had to deliver Sunday. My baby was not doing well anymore. I had to have an emergency c-section. You are an amazing Doctor! Thank you!

Thankyou! I lost all hope in doctors while having Skipitis. You took over my appointment while he was on vacation and you were truly amazing! You took time to answer all the questions I had throughout my pregnancy that skipitis never gave me the time of day to answer. You were able to get me in and out within an hour while actually sitting down and making sure I had all questions answered and was reassured and you actually cared enough to get a sonogram that appointment because you had concerns that skipitis didn’t even care enough to bring up. So Thankyou! I tried switching to be your patient before I even left the office and unfortunately I was told I couldn’t considering I was already in my third trimester. You brought back my hope in doctors. I was fighting for you to deliver my son because you were on call and unfortunately skipitis paused my Pitocin and stopped my contractions so I’d have to wait till the next day so he could deliver.

Doctor Williams is one of the best of the best! He has delivered all three of my children and I wouldnt have it any other way. He was always so calm and caring, which absolutely aids in any womans pregnancy, labor and delivery. If God permits me to have more children, Doctor Williams will be my first and always only choice!!! God Bless you Doctor Williams!!
