Compassionate and professional
Dr. Guy has been my pain management specialist for seven months. She listens carefully to me while I discuss my issues and offers me sound medical advice on how to treat those issues. She’s compassionate and truly cares about my quality of life. I recommend her for anyone needing help with acute and chronic pain conditions.

I’d like to be able to leave negative stars because that is all Dr. Guy deserves. In my humble opinion, she has the worst bedside manner. After a few visits, I was convinced she was only after my money, she could less about my pain. She’ll prescribe you narcotics your medical insurance won’t authorize payment for. I have to spend $600 out of my own pocket each month. She’s very condescending and has zero compassion for you as a patient. Her receptionist is no different. She’s completely clueless. She plays dumb when there’s some kind of conflict. Take my advice, find another pain management doctor to help you out. She only created more pain for me, mental and physical. She’s already very jaded of first time patients. She does not give you the feelings that she cares about your pain level. It’s as simple as this, you pee in a cup, she talks to you briefly and hands you your prescription. You can tell at first sight she’s a very angry woman.

Pain Doctor Hater! – Feb 13, 2022
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Guy?
Was referred to pain management when Idaho required pain meds to be given by Pain management rather than personal M.D. Guy had no time for any background check, personal information. Just needed pain level. I am a recovering Alchoholic. I had? Fibromyalgia? She gave RX for methadone. ( for 5 pain level) I thought methadone was used to get heroine addicts off heroin so must be ok. She’s the doctor. I was on it for 4 yrs paying $45.00 cash every visit. Office was always busy. Hey “Pain Management”. 15minutes per patient plus insurance was billed. My meds were increased to 4 per day based on the fact that I was in such a drug stumper I kept answering her pain level as 5 since I thought she forgot what level My daughter came to stay with me to help and her boyfriend apparently was stealing meds. I was taken off meds. Then detoxed at home. Horrendous. But thankfully I am drug free and free of Quaks. Naproxen suits me fine. Until your dying of a terminal disease. Steer Clear!!!!!

I've been with Dr. Guy for more than 3 years. She is my 3rd pain management doctor and by far the best. Dr. Guy listens-really listens-to her patients, and doesn't treat us like she's doing us a favor. She cares about how our pain effects our quality of life, and is always open to discussing our treatment plan, making changes and helping us to live normal, productive lives, again. Katie, Rachel and Ashley (her office staff) are the best ladies, and work really hard to keep things flowing smoothly!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Guy for a couple years now. I highly recommend her. She takes the time to discuss any issues I may be having with no time pressures. I have never had to wait in her office more than 10-15 minutes. She is very professional and has a pleasant, professional staff. I can't say enough about how she has helped me deal with the pain associated with my PMR and arthritis. For me, she's a life-saver. She is truly concerned for her patients' well being and will explore many methods of pain control to help improve their quality of life. I have a few different doctors involved in the management of my PMR, arthritis, surgeries, etc.. all have expressed how pleased they are with Dr. Guy, her competence and experience. She is highly recommended by all.

LESS THAN 1 STAR Absolutely horrible women there. She WILL ruin your life. Don't trust her or her smiley staff. She will make it so you aren't able to be seen by any other doctors. She is rude and a coward for not having the respect as a human to have a conversation about why her receptionist is a two-faced liar. I wonder how they sleep at night.

Nurse screwed up and I got blamed despite being a patients for close to 10 years. Even had two other patients and one receptionist see and testify I was innocent, still didn't matter.

I have tons of medical issues, seen a ton of doctors. I am huge on respect for others and unfortunately some doctors and their staff disregard respect. Dr. guy does not fit into that category. She looks at My face like I'm a person. She doesn't talk to me with aggravation or irritation that I have concerns. She gives me more than one option for my treatment. She's been timely with everything that I've asked. Her staff gets back to me immediately. I'm quite thankful for finding Dr Guy.

Highly Unlikely to recommend anyone here, and will go out of my way to off very poor opinion of this Doctor or clinic when I hear the name. Recieved a "standard dummy letter" with unaccurate information in regurds to my health, treatment and character. Considering she was never my Doctor and now I have to fix this. She has not returned any calls and her office had to spend over 72 hours to find out why my offical appointment had been canceled. Find a Doctor that listens or cares. Not this.

You screwed over my husband. He had to go 5 times to get a prescription and take time off of work. Then one day they call him and say they don't want to see him anymore. He had there for over 2 years.

Dr. Guy made me wait for my prescriptions. My pharmacy was constantly waiting for the scrip approval and sometimes it would not come and I would be without medication for the weekend. If she does not like you her quality of care goes down drastically. She finally let me go when I had showed up for an appt early, she would not see me and then sent me a letter stating she would no longer be my physician for not being there on time for a number of appts. I do not recommend Dr. Guy for anyone.

I've pain management doctors for almost 20 years in 5 states and I have nothing but good and thanks to them all except Dr. Guy. She's a Alabama southern girl who treats you by if she likes you, not ur health needs. I have a letter of prof. I've never failed a UA to which she gave me 9 in my first 7 months. Never lost or ran out of meds kept every apt. Asked for any and all forms of help.letter states we wasn't compatible and didn't work together.2 days before my script I get dropped.
