Leaving a voicemail is pretty much useless.
Dr Diwan is great! If you need to make an appointment or renew a prescription, don’t bother leaving a voicemail. It has been recommended to me to use the patient portal.

Dr Diwan is truly a professional, he is extremely knowledgeable, and kind individual. When he came into the room he had read about my previous hospitalization for an unrelated issue. He calls me by name and remembers all that I have told him before. Ravi is a very special doctor. We all think highly of him and recommend him as a great doctor.He always finishes with, if you have a problem, call me. I have, and he responds. What a guy!

Dr. Diwan makes you feel like family. I was very lucky when I had my heart attack to have him as my surgeon. What a wonderful gentleman and friend.

Very happy with the care received from Dr. Diwan, along with his assistant. However, the staff has lost my appointment twice. When I arrived on time for appt. was told there is no appt listed. I gave the receptionist my appt card. When she was telling me that I could be fit in, another employee ripped into me by saying 'you can't come in here and expect to go ahead of others'. She obviously did not understand the situation. When told I have an appt she got even more rude. Told me to sit down and be prepared to wait a long time. Spoke to me like I was a naughty 5 year old. Very humiliating. I left and was not sure I wanted to return to be reprimanded again.

Dr Diwan saw me in the ER with acute chest pain. He quickly made the proper assessment and recommended a cardiac catheterization, but this procedure cannot be done at the hospital I was at. He tried to get me transferred to Jersey shore medical center but when they could not do the procedure for almost a week he went out of his way to arrange for me to be transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital the next day to be evaluated and treated by one one of the best interventional cardiologists in NYC. I had a great result and am very grateful for Dr Diwan for really putting in the extra effort to help me out.
