One of the best doctors
Dr Seago is one of a kind in this day and age. His approach of minimalism in invasive treatments truly sets him apart. With a mountain of experience, his oft quoted statement is that the punishment must fit the crime :) meaning that the treatment must be commensurate with the conditions and pain levels. He listens to the patient for the reported symptoms, correlates that with imaging results and recommends the path forward in treatment. He diagnosed the disk bulge as being the root cause of my hip pain and recommended PT as the next step. After going through a couple of months of PT, I still had a level of pain but was quite functional. In the follow up visit I asked if I could have a cortisone injection to alleviate that even further and he recommended not to go through that. I guess that punishment wasn’t warranted for the crime :) In summary, a lovely, experienced, and caring doctor working to help patients in the most optimal way

Compassionate, good listener
Dr. Seago reviewed the x-ray films prior to coming into the room. He was prepared. He listened to my symptoms and complaints and responded with appropriate answers. He gave a plan and was open to discussion.. He was compassionate. I never felt rushed.

Huge practice with many doctors. Waited over an hour after checking in on time. Sitting and waiting that long while in pain and with no one explaining what was happening was pretty disrespectful. I’d like to charge his office for the 1.5 hrs I lost from my business that day, but actually helped me decide who I will not have operate on my neck.

Very puzzling and unpleasant surgery consult. He spent lots of time telling me how bad my cervical vertebrae were - showed me the MRI and X-rays - and wound up by saying he wouldn’t do surgery because he would have to fuse 4 levels...Didn’t answer any of my questions except to say “do what you can tolerate”. I am a RN with 35 years of experience and this was a complete waste of my time.
