I went to see her after my joints started swelling and having pain for no reason. Explained to her what was happening, and told her that only steroids and NSAIDs had helped at all. She blew me off like I was a pain med seeker. She ran basic labs which were relatively normal, and told me my symptoms were "bad luck" and to come back if things got worse. She refused to treat me with medication at all. I went to a different rheumatologist who looked at my joints with ultrasound and ordered the Vectra test, and found that I had advanced seronegative RA with signs of joint destruction already prevalent on imaging, and high risk of permanent joint damage. He started treatment for RA and my symptoms have resolved. Dr. Cozmuta ignored me and blew my symptoms off from the first second she walked in the room. She was very terse and rude at times. I wouldn't trust her to care for anyone I cared about.

She is wonderful. I read all the reviews here and I don’t know why the bad ones. She is really explaining everything, involves you in the decision making process and makes sure you understand everything. I wish all my other doctors would be like her.

I called about a contraindication to her prescription and was told (through staff of course) to discontinue and wait for a return call. That was 3 weeks ago. I almost ended up at Emory again. This is a "textbook" doctor that either pays no attention to the overall condition of the patient OR has a lack of expertise. She used a condescending manner to admonish me for needing an amount of predisone that EVERYBODY else does so well on. She should be subject to scrutiny by the A.M.A.

Works way too fast, did only one test and misdiagnosed my condition. Non-communicative. Provided no help whatsoever. Complete waste of time. Expected more from Emory.
