Has NO bedside manner at all! Curt, rude & abrupt, .In & out seeing other pts.. Said for me to return in 2 wks,so that he could inform me of his decision about whether to take me as a patient. He was accepting new patients, we checked. I’ve had fibromyalgia for approx. 40 years & he basically implied it was all in my head & said he wouldn’t be accepting me as a patient - GOOD! I wouldn't accept him as a Doctor. Reviewer said he was retiring, he should have long ago.

He doesn't care. He gives you 30 seconds to talk and then brushes you off to go to the next patient. I saw him due to years of joint pain. Again and again I told him I didn't want to take meds, I wanted to know what was causing it so it could be stopped. He treated me (AND accused me) like a drug addict trying to get pain pills. Going elsewhere I found it was actually a food allergy. I spent 10 years in pain for no reason.

I am devastated that Dr. Stocker is retiring. I have been seeing him for a decade since I was diagnosed with Lupus in my 30s. Initially, Dr. Stocker was stern w/ me b/c I was not great about keeping my appointments and taking my health seriously. Dr. Stocker has shown me tremendous care and demonstrates strong knowledge of medicine, experience & empathy. He has literally saved my life. His retirement is well-deserved but bittersweet. I highly recommend a practitioner just like Ralph Stocker

He was one of the rudest doctors I've ever met. I had my two young children with me because I am new to the area and do not have babysitting . He was very upset and saying this isn't appropriate to bring children and he said he usually sends people away with kids to return at a later date. I understood however his bedside manner has much to be desired . I will not be returning ! Could not recommend him do to his attitude .
