Dr. Rajiv Taliwal, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Taliwal for many years with 3 cervical fusions and now am having some lumbar problems. He has such a calming manner to him which in turn calms me down. I appreciate him greatly!

After going to several doctors about my back pain, I found Dr. Taliwal. On day one he ordered the tests I needed and got me back quickly to let me know my options. Two weeks later I was having my lumbar repaired. After many doctors visits, I was so happy to end the runaround. The doctor and his entire staff have been wonderful

NOT GOOD. LOST MY RECORDS. MADE ME DRIVE ALL THE WAY OUT THERE, ONLY TO COME BACK WITH MY RECORDS AGAIN, BC HIS OFFICE LOST THEM. THEN, ALL HE DID FOR SEVERAL VISITS AFTER THAT, WAS SEND ME FOR TEST AFTER TEST AFTER TEST. AFTER LASTLY SENDING ME FOR ANOTHER CAT SCAN, HE NEVER EVEN BOTHERED TO CONTACT ME WITH TEST RESULTS. IT'S BEEN MONTHS.... AND I AM NOT CALLING HIM, BC IF HE ACTUALLY CARED, THEY WOULD HAVE FOLLOWED UP AFTER MY LAST TEST, AS DRS THAT CARE, DO. THIS DR COULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT MY BACK AND SPINE ISSUES, OR THE PAIN I AM IN. I REMEMBER ONE DAY GOING IN THERE CRYING FROM SO MUCH PAIN, AND HE JUST LOOKED AT ME, AND SCHEDULED ANOTHER TEST. VERY DISHEARTENING. GOING TO GET A NEW DR. NOW.

I am doctoring with Dr.Taliwal for back and leg pain. He has explained in detail the reasons for these pains. He has taken time to explain different options and answer my questions and concerns.

I was having so much neck pain I had a really hard time sleeping. Dr Taliwal was such a good listener. Next I had an X-Ray. Then he explained on what could be done to relieve much of my pain. He did cervical surgery to repair my multiple problems.

Wonderful and friendly Explanation great about my problem

His diagnosis with direct into the point. When I addressed him about an issue regarding the entire testing process, he came across totally uninterested and did not respond with any comment. He got up and went to the door, stating that he will be back with the orders. A nurse proceeded to come back in with the orders, and I never saw the doctor again. I will gladly go somewhere else for my care.

Dr Taliwal always takes the time to listen and explain your healthcare to you. Excellent care!!

Dr. Taliwal and the staff at Crystal Clinic have been great! Dr. Taliwal has been a wonderful consummate and kind spinal specialist doctor. I am thankful for his skill and knowledge for the spinal fusion surgery he performed on me. I recommend him.

Dr. Taliwal and everyone at Crystal Clinic was a delight….helpful and kind. This was true of all the caregivers and the back office people as well. I can’t say enough good things about my experience (back surgery and physical therapy).Dr. Taliwal was kind, attentive and thorough.

Very good. Had surgery by him for 3 pinched nerves, multiple degenerative discs plus having scoliosis, moved my spine and added hardware. Was a major surgery and painful but it all worked. Took me a year or so to totally heal but I did exactly what Dr. Taliwal told me to do and I am virtually pain free and very mobile. As he stated...know your body, best advice ever. If I have pain, I know I have over extended myself.

I’ve been dealing with severe nerve pain off & on for 25 yrs. I’ve been in the construction trades for 35 yrs with the majority being concrete work . It progressed to the point where I was spending a week on bed rest every other month trying to calm and heal the irritated nerve . I consulted several surgeons and finally found Dr Taliwal and I was confident that I found the surgeon that could help me . He was straightforward and explained what was causing my pain and he answered all of my questions. Dr Taliwal performed a laminectomy and discectomy on my L3 , L4 , and L5 . The surgery well and the staff at Crystal Clinic was terrific. I am 9 weeks post op and I’m back to my normal activities and work with my only restriction being any heavy lifting . He told me his guideline is that I can add an additional 10lbs to my lifting capacity ea month , so that’s going to take a bit before I’m at 100 percent.I’m extremely satisfied with my experience.
