I have complex migraines that present in an atypical way. I have seen two other neurologists in Austin who have misdiagnosed me with a variety of terrifying disorders. Dr. Gupta was the first person to fully address my concerns and find the root cause of my migraines. I am now migraine free for a year!! I cannot recommend enough!

Dr Gupta only had one treatment to offer me for my migraines and that was injections to the back of my skull. This worked the first round or two but then was not very effective after that. Since insurance did not pay for this, it was very expensive.

I first started having migraines when I was 4 years old. After seeing many neurologists, I was left with a long list of heavy prescriptions that left me feeling drugged up and caused stomach ulcers. Even then, I was still experiencing migraines multiple times a week with visual impairment, nausea, and ceaseless pain. Dr. Gupta was the first neurologist I saw who did not try to put me on even more drugs. Instead, he actually identified the real cause of my migraines and started me on an injection treatment plan that has given me the first sense of relief in my entire life. Dr. Gupta and the office manager were very patient listening to me and guiding me through this life changing treatment. I am now completely off ALL drugs for the first time since my preteens and am currently zip-lining in Puerto Rico - something I never would have dreamed of being able to do before Dr. Gupta. I hope I can one day deliver true cures to patients as a physician as well.

Dr. Gupta was soft spoken and kind. He did a thorough evaluation of me regarding migraine headache. He treated me in the office and gave me a prescription. I liked him and would recommend him.

Poor quality of interaction, not really listening to concerns and does things that make me distrustful of him.
