Dr. Seth showed no compassion towards my husband or me as his spouse. He was distracted looking at his phone when my husband was trying to describe the pain he was experiencing from his stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He was condescending and actually rude and annoyed if you asked him a question or for clarification about the treatment he was recommending. He is not up on the current literature on pancreatIc cancer and I would never recommend him to anyone who has pancreatic cancer.

Dr. Seth
Dr. Seth was very condescending. He treated me as though I didn't need to know about CLL. I don believe he is a CLL specialist. He did not answer my questions. He did not check to see if my liver or spleen were swollen. He was not concerned about my lack of appetite or 30+ pound weight loss in 3 months (not trying). He acted like I was an annoyance rather than a patient.

I would have put a "0" if I could.
He (doesn't deserve the title Dr.) is rude, doesn't answer questions, brief, and doesn't explain anything to the patients. My brother had stage 4 cancer and he let him to believe he was going to be fine. I was his proxy and he would not return my calls, so I could explain to my brother how bad he was. He sent him directly to the ER when he arrived at his office appointment. My brother passed within 4 days of that visit.

Dr. Seth should not be practicing medicine. He does not care about his patients well being. He is an embarrassment to the medical community and he should consider doing something else that does not involve medicine or working with people. His complete lack of focus and attention on his patients puts them at risk and is truly concerning that he will continue to practice.

SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING MEDICINE!!! – Apr 20, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Seth?
Where to begin? Told my mom that Rochester doesn't really want to do a transplant for her. When that was decided to be the best plan of care all along. Arranged for oral chemo pills through insurance and a month later have not yet received them. When we asked about why we didnt have it yet, all the sudden he claims she needs a port put in and IV chemo. Send a message through online patient portal, and left a message with the office. Not one response back. I really feel like my mom's health is not his priority. More concerned with being right.

This doctor does not care about his patients and is extremely rude. If you are considering him, my family would advise you to find any other doctor.

Terrible bedside manner. Told my best friend who was Stage 4 Cancer that had metastasized to her brain and esophagus that she would never eat again and should just get comfortable. She wasn't ready to give up and his words and demeanor devastated her. No compassion. Prides himself on not sugarcoating anything, not always the correct approach for people already overwhelmed with a difficult diagnosis.

He blamed my blood clots on my weight and didnt care about pursuing a reason why at such a young age I had 3 DVTs in the span of 6 months. Turns out, once I found a caring hematologist, I have lupus. His bedside manner was atrocious, harping on my weight and little else. I felt alienated and shamed for even daring to ask why I was suffering the way I was. He is the worst.
