Excellent care
Dr Mundada is extremely knowledgeable about type 2 diabetes & thyroid problems. She listens, asks pertinent questions & offers suggestions to remedy my issues. Suggested a glucose monitoring system instead of pricking my fingers to monitor my glucose. It has worked well & my A1C is down. Her asst, Margo, is also outstanding. They are easy to reach thru the Penn portal as well. Best endocrinologist I’ve ever had.

Would have given zero stars
Dr. Mundada asked me if I needed medication refills. I haven't been able to be properly seen by an endocrinologist in the Penn Medicine Network for a year, of course I need refills. She also is forcing me to get blood work done and refused to fill at least my Metformin prescription which has been stable for the last 5 years. Also, she treated me like a child and told me I was taking my thyroid medication in a weird way. I should have listened to the other responsible reviewers who had a less than

It was a follow-up visit for type 2. I hadn't completed my glucose tracking properly, so she decided to berate me like a small child. Right from the beginning of the appointment, she was argumentative and difficult. Diabetes is new to me, I'm still trying to get it all together. She didn't want to hear it. Don't waste your time with her. There are 8,400 endocrinologists across the U.S., that's 168 per state. Don't waste your time with this woman. Unless you enjoy being treated like a small, delinquent child.
