Dr. Mariele Briones, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Briones for quite a few years. When I first came to her, I was having many issues. Hair loss, tiredness, depression, weight gain, etc. Dr. diagnosed me with Hashimoto’s. When I explained my symptoms to other endocrinologists, I was told to consult a Psyciatrist. Dr. Briones did an extensive blood work up and found the Hashimoto’s. I am so happy I found Dr. Briones! She is wonderful!

Dr. Briones is a warm, caring, thoughtful physician who tries to treat the whole person, not just a single area of interest, by looking at the big picture. She will recognize you and treat you like a friend after the first visit. You will always feel listened to and respected, as well as cared for.

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s during the spring of 2020. I struggled with finding an endocrinologist that understood this autoimmune issue that affects the thyroid especially because all my levels were reading normal but I was having hair loss. I did some research and found Dr. Brines. I came with a list of questions and things I wanted to be tested for. Before I could mention the stuff I wrote down, she mentioned it. She also mentioned other things I didn’t know about. I was so happy she wanted to run all the blood tests that were mentioned when conducting my research snd others . She took her time with me and explained everything thoroughly. She also wanted to get an ultrasound of my thyroid to have a base line and to make sure nothing else was going on. She didn’t want to jump straight to medication but because I was having symptoms, we decided it might help. She didn’t brush off my symptoms especially my hair loss that was occurring. She was patient and empathetic.

I absolutely adore Dr Briones! She is hands-down one of the best providers in our community. She cares about people as individuals and not just for the issues for which they come to her office. She takes as much time as is needed for each patient and I never feel rushed by her. She is very knowledgeable and know how to think outside the box to solve endo-related issues. She also knows how endo issues affect/are affected by other medical conditions and is able to make adjustments. I’m very fortunate to have her as my provider!

After a long search for a doctor who could help me with my thyroid condition, I finally found Dr. Briones. She has been a Godsend. She listens carefully and respects me as a partner in my own health care - something that is sadly rare in my experience with doctors. She carefully considers my unique description of my symptoms and my own hunches about what might be going on. She is familiar with recent research on thyroid conditions, and seems to approach her work with curiosity and humility rather than close-mindedness and hubris. Since finding Dr. Briones, my condition has improved drastically, and my quality of life is so much better. We need more medical professionals like Dr. Briones in this world.

Dr. Briones is the best endocrinologist I've ever seen. She is 100% thorough. Dr. Briones, reviews and listens to all your concerns, examines you thoroughly and understands the endocrine system can be individual. Dr. Briones knowledge and verbal conversation with you, helps you to understand and manage your health reasons for your visit. I trust her with my life and also my daughter's who see's her. The office staff has excellent communication with politeness and smiles.

Dr. Briones is very knowledgeable with the current research and doesn't go by the old outdated guidelines for endocrine disorders. She ensures her patients understand the issues affecting them and how to manage them.

I have ben seeing Dr. Briones for the last 8 years for my many medical issues(thyroid, adrenal, pre-diabetic, low B and D vitamin levels). She goes above and beyond any other professional I have ever dealt with in the medical field. I am not an easy read and she has always been able to figure out what is going on with my body.
