Top notch care for 2 family members
Initially, I brought my mother to see Dr. Kadiyala. He guided her through non operative treatment for thumb arthritis, and said if the thumb was too painful, could consider surgery. After seeing her for two years, my mom decided she was ready for surgery. She underwent a very successful surgery and has resumed all her activities. I then saw Dr Kadiyala as a patient myself for a wrist fracture, underwent immediate surgery, and have also returned to all my normal activities. We couldn’t be more pleased with his manner, explanations, and skills. Highly recommended. Kadiyala to everyone.

MINDSET TRUMPS MD and PhD
During our consultation, I explained that my right thumb takes the brunt each time of my frequent falling. The thumb is now misaligned, swollen, and always painful. I had two injections from a Mt. Sinai doctor who told me that surgery is the only option left. I wanted to discuss this with this doctor. He was rushed and rude and said there was nothing he could do. In the same breath, he described his wife’s pain and how his sons at home take care of her. Women complaining about similar pain-his woman cared for by her two sons. I came into Manhattan to sit with a highly-educated doctor who had no time for female chatter and no medical advice, all in maybe five minutes. I looked in disbelief at the other woman in the room. The doctor’s quick response to my pain seemed scripted. She just smiled. I can’t imagine the level of her self-esteem when she leaves that office each day. An MD and a PhD-what a waste! These remarks rolling right off his tongue effortlessly.

Dr.Kadiyala is an amazing doctor. My concerns were automatically addressed with kindness and care for my condition. After years of misdiagnosis from other doctors Dr.Kadiyala was able to fix my carpal tunnel in a few week. I would recommend him to anyone I know.

My mother used to go to Dr Kadiyala when he practiced in Miami. Since he moved to NYC (where I live), she flies to see him for her hand troubles. She refuses to go to any other hand surgeon! And I promise, it’s NOT just an excuse to visit me! I couldn’t understand why she didn’t just find another doctor in Miami. But once I met Dr. Kadiyala, I completely understood my mother’s loyalty to him. He has a beautiful, gentle bedside manner. He is bright and curious. He explained everything to her in a way that she could understand. His surgical skills were top notch and she has recovered beautifully. We love this doctor and are so grateful to him for his wonderful combination of technical skills + interpersonal skills. You won’t be disappointed by this physician.

Dr. Kadiyala is a man of extreme integrity, empathy, and curiosity. You can tell that he knows so much because he is not afraid to be surprised by something new. For example, a not so great doctor will try to pigeon-hole your diagnosis into something final. Dr. Kadiyala is nothing of the sort. He is the Captain Kirk of Orthopedic Surgery. He is willing to push the limits of his own knowledge and set the course, even if it means he must decline to operate. He sets the standard for medical ethics.

Very efficient process from xray to check-in to expert clinical opinion. Dr. Kadiyala examined my hand, showed me what he was seeing on the xray and explained my condition, timeframe for healing and what i could do to hasten it. Very satisfied.

When I had a hip fracture, he performed the surgery. He and his anesthesia team were absolutely professional and made a miracle happen as medical practitioners. I very much respect his skill of surgery. What happened to me was the worst thing ever in my life but the fact that he and his team did the operation was really the best thing.

I broke my elbow and the tendon need to be reattached. He saw me 45 minutes after we called his office and changed his schedule so that I could be operated on the next day. I found him incredibly caring and reassuring. He performed plastic surgery so the scar is minimal. I recommended a friend who was already scheduled for hand surgery elsewhere who, thanks to the advice of Dr. Kadiyala, cancelled it and 6 months later is fine. Additionally, the staff is wonderful.

Very nice glib quick. Would never recommend anyone see him as a doctor. 1st visit he didn't touch my finger. Looked at the x Ray and said If it was ever broke it isn't now. Second visit he misidentified where my fracture had been. He pointed to a joint. When I said no . He pointed to the correct one. My finger has gotten worse following his advice. Am looking for someone who knows what they are talking about.

This Doctor is rude and doesn't care to answer too many questions. I raised some important issues and he quickly responded that if I asked any other questions he would never speak to me again. In addition, he had an assistant using a laptop during the entire diagnostic discussion which created an unnecessary distraction. His services were requested for a second opinion related to ongoing discomfort related to prior orthopedic surgery. His advice was also questionable. Zero compassion.

After 8 months of unbearable pain, physical therapy and threats of surgery, I decided to look up other doctors online. I thank god I found Dr. Kadiyala. Not only because of his impressive educational history, but because of his dedication to his patients. Not only him, but his nurses and staff. I did end up getting surgery, not the surgery that was originally ordered (by another doctor). Nevertheless, I felt so comfortable, I didn't doubt Doc K for a millisecond.

I'm a professional musician who had a serious wrist fracture and was operated on by Dr. Kadiyala. He understood immediately the gravity of my condition and the impact it might have on my professional life. I could not have been more pleased with his work and the progress of my recovery. He was conservative, explained things very clearly, and gave me tremendous sense of confidence in my eventual recovery
