Dr. Preston Sprenkle, MD

March 1, 2022 Dr Sprenkle performed a prostate biopsy on me. On March 18 I was admitted to Yale New Haven Hospital with an E.Coli infection and Sepsis. On or around March 25, 2022 I was released from the hospital and went home.

Dr. Sprenkle spent a great deal of time explaining my cancer and treatment options. He gave me hope and was very sensitive to my situation. He demonstrated more patience, caring, and understanding than over a half-dozen other specialists I consulted for my condition. I ultimately underwent treatment with his team and I am very satisfied with the outcome. He called me to see how I was doing afterward. I still see him. He was a beacon of hope in the worst health crisis I ever faced in my life. Highly recommend!!

Knows his profession...a very nice demeanor. Answered my questions to my satisfaction. Staff is good.

Dr. Sprenkle and his office were very accommodating in providing me a timely video appointment as a second opinion, including accommodation outside the normal appointment schedule. Dr. Sprenkle did a great job listening to my concerns, and providing clear answers to all of my questions. I am very appreciative of their help.

He was very late for my appointment. His staff is trained to prepare you as though he is not going to be late and leave you in a very physically uncomfortable and in an immodest position. Staff came in and out of the room with frequent giggling in the background (with me in an immodest position) with no respect or concern for me as a patient. Dr Sprenkle arrived about 20 minutes late from lunch and rushed through the procedure. At the department's email request after the procedure I responded with basically this information. There was no response to my evaluation which leads me to believe that whoever read the review deleted it since multiple staff were involved.
