TERRIBLE!!! Tried scheduling with this doctor a couple months ago and was told this doctor requires a referral from a doctor even if you have a PPO insurance plan (which I do) and then I had my other doctor send a referral to them. I get a call saying this doctor denied the referral because she doesn’t treat what I am dealing with. So then why do you have an office open as an endocrinologist if you don’t want to deal with symptoms that could be due to an endocrinology related disease? What’s the point of having a PPO plan if these doctors say they’ll accept them but have a million requirements? I work in a doctor’s office myself and the doctor does not treat patients like this. I’ve never dealt with a doctor like this before. There’s only a few endocrinologists that accept my insurance but I will never make the mistake of trying to see this doctor again. I dodged a bullet.

liars
I was charged a copay of $30 - which I paid with cash. They now say I didn't pay, which is lie - I know I paid, my wife is a witness and remembers me paying. I have refused to pay again to these liars and thieves. Now it has gone to collections and I have to deal with creeps over $30. thank you millenium.

I think she is great
I had some issues with her staff and with getting an appointment. Now she is in a different office & the staff seem much better. I went to her with a high A1C and instead of just putting me on one of these super expensive new drugs and telling me I'm fat (as a previous endocrinologist did) she really reviewed my labs and discovered my PTH is very high and she explained how that effects the glucose. She is also very sweet & pleasant.

Poojah is great! But!!! Why do I have to wear a mask and you touch my credit card without gloves on and we are using the same pen for everyone. You are behind 4 ft of class - Do I really need a mask? - at least be consistent and treat me with the same standard you expect of me!!

She is an excellent physician. She takes time to explain things in a language I understand. I think so highly of her that I have recommended her to my sister-in-law who also likes her. My visits are annually and the only complaint I have is they moved since last year and never notified me. That’s on her staff, not her.

I did not have a good experience. Have hypothyroid and Hashimonto. I am well read about my illness. I do know that I can not convert T4 to T3 yet she took me off the cytomel which does just that. I left her office and went to another Dr. who said that I NEED to be on this medication for my system to work well. She also did nt seem to care about what I wanted.

She has helped me in so many ways. My blood sugar levels were all over the place. My A1c was over 11. Since seeing her, I have lost 40lbs and don’t need diabetes medications or cholesterol medications any more. She has been so supportive. I would definitely recommend her.

I really liked Pooja herself. Very easy to talk to, BUT, not very informative and helpful on any dietary advice and is very very bad about getting back to me ; the staff there is nice, except for Wendy; she has absolutely no bedside manners on the phone. When she is with Pooja, it's a different story; the office is not organized, because that I had to go fetching my information from my primary care and my imaging, because they didn't have it, meanwhile, it had already been faxed to the office;

Nice,but controlling. I've had T1D for 50 years, worn a pump for 10. My control of the disease could be improved, but treated me like a child. Didn't want me adjusting rates on my pump without consulting her first. 99.9% of pump users do this. In the market for a new pump,Told to only use Medtronic. Should be my choice. Chastised my printed blood glucose readings. Wanted me in frequently. $ Didnt address my concerns. Would not refil meds other endos had prescribed. Young, idealistic
